Perilous Prophecy

PERILOUS PROPHECY

Blog Post Date:  3-2-2020

Written endorsements of Biblical prophecy is an invitation for censure and/or criticism.  However, since I’ve been called most every name imaginable, then I will take the chance and see what happens.

My study of eschatology has encompassed (off and on) around 40 years and many instances have been frustrating with an occasional peaceful moment.  Most of the time I have been wrong in my overall understanding although it appears that now is a calm episode of my studying and thinking.

I still may be wrong but my end-times prophecy thinking goes as follows.  There is no seven year tribulation period.  This concept is the result of false understanding of Daniel’s seventy weeks.  The Revelation is not a road map for seven years of so-called “antichrist” terror - it is primarily a schematic outline of church history since the days of John until the present.  And we are viewing the downfall of Mystery, Babylon, even now.

There is the possibility that several parts of the Revelation, up to the 15th chapter may be replaying themselves in a secondary prophetic manner.  There are several, beyond normal, earthquakes scattered around the world.  Both within the Pacific “ring of fire” and many outside this area, along with various volcanos all erupting within a short period of time.

Snowfalls are occurring in places not generally associated with such things and an unusual amount of rain creating floods and mudslides in various worldwide areas.

Vast areas of Australia were burned by brushfires.

The Coronavirus has recently erupted.  It is apparently greatly affecting the Chinese and Koreans although it has been reported that it is more like a common cold to other races.  Benjamin Fulford has even reported that the majority of world cases is a ruse and Donald Trump has even said the situation is under control in the USA.  Believability is something that each individual will have to deal with personally.

It is now possible for Mr. Trump to use the coronavirus pandemic as a good excuse to build the wall separating the USA from Mexico.  The X-22 report claims the virus is of small consequence being used by the deep state to invalidate Trump.  X-22 claims that if it was real would be MSM and the Democrats be claiming the virus is the fault of Mr. Trump?  The answer is, “No, they would be looking for protection and not playing the blame game.”

The medical personnel of South Korea claim that oxygen therapy will kill the coronavirus.

The superficial cause is toxemia -- the build up of toxins in our blood.  The actual cause, however, is lack of oxygen and things that screw up our ability to use oxygen at a cellular level.

The locust plague is apparently a real event.  This could be related to some secondary fulfillment parts of the Revelation although I know of no one who has validly checked.  Many animals are also dying due to the locust invasion.  Although various 7-year tribulation proponents believe we are directly involved in the so-called Revelation tribulation quagmire even though no direct prophecy is quoted, because there is no specific one.

If Matthew 24:6-12 can be rightly attributed to the present time, i.e. the end of the age, then it may be issuing various prophetic points associated with modern times.  There are several middle East wars occurring, famines caused by floods with the world food supply becoming quite low, a pestilence due to the coronavirus along with the locust plague, and of course, earthquakes in several places.

Matthew 24:7 KJV  For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences (i.e. a plague or some type), and earthquakes, in divers places.

The 120 Years
In Genesis 2:17 God told Adam that eating the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil would instigate his death.  Of course, Adam did not immediately die.  As a matter of fact he lived many years past that point.

Genesis 2:16-17 NET Then the LORD God commanded the man, "You may freely eat fruit from every tree of the orchard, (17) but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will surely die."

The KJV of Genesis 2:17 has been inserted to show the word “DAY” is actually in the Hebrew.

Genesis 2:17 KJV  But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Viewing, 2 Peter 3:8 it can be shown that one day with the Lord is as a thousand years in circular reasoning.

2 Peter 3:8 KJV  But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

But the information tells us that Adam died prior to the end of the first thousand years (or the first day as it is with the Lord).  If Adam was supposed to die within the DAY that he sinned and if a thousand years is one day then that is exactly what happened.

Genesis 5:5 NET The entire lifetime of Adam was 930 years, and then he died.

Genesis 6:3 says:

Genesis 6:3 KJV  And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet (he will remain NET) his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

This is not speaking of a person’s age since it is obvious that people after the flood lived over 120 years. This is talking about how long God is willing to basically put up with the waywardness of humanity.

My answer may not be accurate, but at some point during my eschatology journey I learned this was 120 jubilees.  A jubilee is 50 years.  120 jubilees, therefore, is 120 x 50 = 6000.  Six thousand years.  This appears to make sense and it may be off by a few years but it is fairly close.  We are now supposedly very close to the end of the 6000 years.

The next passage is takenfromthe KJV because no one else except the Jewish Bible gets it correct unless it is taken from the original Hebrew:

Revelation 13:8 KJV  And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him (i.e. the Beast), whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

In this verse, we find the sacrificial Lamb was slain from the beginning of the world, which doesn’t make a lot of sense to the natural mind.  This means that Christ was sacrificed prior to the sin of Adam and Eve, an example of circular reasoning rather than lineal deliberating.

Next, we will look at 1 Peter 1:20 [KJV]:

1 Peter 1:20 KJV  Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times [archarit-hayamim] for you,

This verse will show that Christ was not an answer to a sin problem after four thousand years of trying to get it right by the Law or other means. The answer existed before the problem. Peter explains here that Christ was destined for the earth specifically for the “last days”, the acharit-hayamim.

The Jerusalem Prophecy

THE JERUSALEM PROPHECY

By Dr. Stephen Jones:  Oct 11, 2019

Blog Post Date:  10-11-2019

On September 26, 2019 some Israeli Jews sacrificed a lamb on the Mount of Olives. Here is a 16-minute video of the ceremony itself.

While many think that this is a fulfillment of prophecy and is a wonderful thing, it actually was an act of blasphemy, biblically speaking, because it rejected Jesus Christ as the Lamb of God that was provided for the sin of the world. Secondly, by sacrificing the animal on the Mount of Olives—where Jesus Himself was sacrificed—it represented a counterfeit that was not at all in accordance with the will of God.

Thirdly, they appealed to the whole world (“the seventy nations”) to participate in this animal sacrifice, as if the blood of an animal were effectual in saving the world. Old Covenant faith in the blood of an animal is ineffectual, and for that reason it had to be repeated daily in previous times. The blood of Jesus, however, is “once for all” (Romans 6:10; Hebrews 7:27; 10:10).

Finally, by appealing to God during the sacrifice, they invoked His blessing upon the whole Old Covenant ceremony, as if God could bless their rejection of Jesus as the Messiah. That is blasphemy. 1 John 2:22, 23 says,

22 Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son. 23 Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father; the one who confesses the Son has the Father also.

Their animal sacrifice is indeed prophetic, but not in the way they believe. First, since they crucified Jesus on a charge of blasphemy, the law demands an equal penalty, “life for life” (Exodus 21:23; Leviticus 24:16). The judgment always fits the crime. Second, their sacrifice was done through the spirit of antichrist, as John says. Christians ought not to support antichrist, as many do, for their participation makes them liable on some level, mitigated only by their level of ignorance.

Cursed Time
As I explained in my book, Secrets of Time, “Cursed Time” is measured in cycles of 414 days or years. The curse of the law is the judgment rendered on account of sin, but Cursed Time is the grace period between the verdict and the execution. For nations and long-term prophecy, it is a cycle of 414 years or a multiple of 414. For individuals and for short-term prophecy, it is 414 days or a multiple.

Hence, as a result of the curse on the ground when Adam sinned (Genesis 3:17), the flood came 1656 years later (4 x 414). Likewise, Noah’s curse on Canaan (Genesis 9:25) gave the Canaanites 2 x 414 years of grace before Joshua led Israel across the Jordan to drive them out of the land. Again, when King Saul consulted the witch of En-dor on the night before he was killed in battle with the Philistines, he put the monarchy of Judah on Cursed Time. The penalty was paid by King Jehoiachin 414 years later.

In the recent case of the animal sacrifice on the Mount of Olives, there is no question in my mind that this put the Jewish state on Cursed Time. This established a countdown toward the destruction of Jerusalem as prophesied in Jeremiah 19:10, 11. While Jerusalem has been destroyed many times in the past, it was always rebuilt later and exists to this day.

Jeremiah, however, compares it to an old earthen jar (Jeremiah 19:1, 10) which was to be cast into the valley of the son of Hinnom (Greek: gehenna). “Just so shall I break this people and this city, even as one breaks a potter’s vessel which cannot again be repaired.” It is evident from history that Jerusalem has always been “repaired;” hence, Jeremiah’s prophecy has yet to be fulfilled.

I believe that the animal sacrifice on September 26, 2019 is the specific event that will bring about the fulfillment of Jeremiah’s prophecy.

The first cycle of 414 days from that date, reckoned inclusively, brings us to November 12, 2020. Going back as early as 1981, November 12 has been one of the most significant dates in my own life, as this was the start of my own wilderness journey, wherein God disciplined me. (See The Wars of the Lord, chapter 1.) The difference was that this disciple worked in my favor in the long run, for it brought me to a new level of faith. I do not see the same thing happening to the city of Jerusalem, simply because the prophecies give no hope for Jerusalem.

One can search the entire passage in Jeremiah 18:11 through chapter 19 and find not a single ray of hope for Jerusalem. In fact, the old earthen jar representing Jerusalem and Judah stands in stark contrast to the wet clay jar in Jeremiah 18:1-10 which represents the house of Israel. Israel was the name of the 10 northern tribes, while Judah was the name of the 2 tribes in the south. The Israelites were exiled to Assyria, and their nation was destroyed, even as the potter beat down the wet clay to remake it into another vessel. But Judah was smashed in Gehenna.

Jews and Israelites
Most Christians make the mistake of applying the prophecy of Israel to the Jewish state which men call Israel. They do not seem to realize that the Jews are not the Israelites. Jew is a contraction for Judah, and after the split in the Kingdom, they were no longer Israelites insofar as these prophecies were concerned.

Furthermore, a true Jew (in the eyes of God) is one whose heart has been circumcised. Paul tells us in Romans 2:28, 29 that “he is NOT a Jew who is one outwardly,” and that “he IS a Jew who is one inwardly.” In other words, the Old Covenant sign (circumcision) may cause men to label a man a Jew, but that is not how God defines the term. To God, there are no Jews apart from heart circumcision, which is the sign of the New Covenant. In other words, one must be in unity with the Mediator of the New Covenant, Jesus Christ, in order to be a “Jew” in the sight of God.

Furthermore, Paul says that the earthly Jerusalem is Hagar, while the heavenly Jerusalem is Sarah. (Galatians 4:25, 26). Paul says that the children of the bondwoman are those who adhere to the Old Covenant—i.e., those who remain in Old Covenant Judaism. The children of the free woman (Sarah) are those who come under the New Covenant and are therefore inheritors. In the end, the divine verdict is that the bondwoman and her son must be “cast out” (Galatians 4:30).

When Jerusalem is “cast out,” I believe that Jeremiah’s prophecy will be fulfilled as well. In my view, November 12, 2020 is the first date to watch in regard to this matter.
