Our
study in Jude has been a bit unusual, not so much in the content itself but in
an underlying purpose.
God
has been using it to stir up the various spiritual powers described in my
commentary in order to bring them into the divine court for judgment. For
instance, when I wrote about “the way of Cain,” we were empowered to deal with
a number of spirits motivating the war against the saints. When I wrote about
the error of Balaam, we were empowered to deal with spirits about false
prophets. The rebellion of Korah weblog brought out a host of other spirits.
Yesterday’s
weblog about the “love feasts” in Jude 12
and how the Gnostics had turned the grace of God into licentiousness (Jude 4)
brought out spirits of counterfeit love. My comments that applied Jude 12 to
the political situation uncovered a situation where the Deep State had
attempted to use a sorcerer to conjure up a demonic army ruled by a “king” to
try to extend the life and power of the two beasts in Revelation 13.

You should not have tried to extend the time
allotted to the beasts (i.e. Babylon;
Medo-Persia; Greece; Rome; “The Little Horn”; Mystery, Babylon which is Babylon
2). You gave them a false prophecy which gave them false hope, even as the
prophets of Ahab gave him false hope (1
Kings 22:11, 12).
The Breaker came and destroyed the horns that you
conjured up. Your army has been destroyed, sent to outer darkness.
Atargatis can no longer afflict Samson with
blindness. The Great Awakening has begun.
You have been judged by the Father according to Deuteronomy
25:2 and 3 and

the judge shall force him to lie down and be beaten in his presence with the
number of blows his wicked behavior deserves. (3) The judge may sentence him to
forty blows, but no more. If he is struck with more than these, you might view
your fellow Israelite with contempt.
will be beaten in His own manner until you repent.
Contact me when you repent, so the balm of Gilead may heal your wounds. God has
purposed that you should be a fruitful tree in His vineyard. The hand of
judgment is also the hand of deliverance.
It appears to me that the religious beast from the
sea (Atargatis, the Mermaid) and the financial beast from the earth (Federal
Reserve Bank) are ready to be overthrown now, and this is causing some panic in
the Deep State. They are resorting to desperate measures using the dark side to
try to retain power in the world.

Their
attempts, however, have been exposed and destroyed. Sharon had a dream where
one demonic entity appeared in the divine court to lodge a complaint that we
had destroyed a king and his army. We had to answer the complaint, of course,
so that they would not win by default. That was simple enough, since we were
led by the Spirit in all of our battles, and in the end they were the ones in
non-compliance with the court order.
We
have been quite busy lately in dealing with spiritual matters. But this commentary
on Jude appears to be something that God is using to give the enemy a warning
and an opportunity to repent, as instructed in the laws of spiritual warfare (Deuteronomy
20:10). There is a lot of work to be done in this regard, so we are
fortunate to have a growing number of experienced men and women who are able to
engage in spiritual warfare on this level.
Anyway,
keep us in prayer that we may be guided by the Spirit, that we would hear
clearly, and that we and those around us would be protected from
counter-offensives.
Many reading Dr.
Jones’ current post may find it cryptic or puzzling. Jones may personally explain some of the names, places, and procedures in
the future, but for now, I will attempt to explain as much as I can.
Spiritual Entities, Princes,
Watchers, and Angelic Beings
Deuteronomy
32:8 is one of the more interesting portions of Deuteronomy. Dr. Michael Heiser claims there is almost a “which
is correct” confrontation between the Septuagint and the Masoretic textual
translations with Qumran text fragments thrown in to muddy the argument. The translation centers around the phrase “Sons
of God”.
Genesis
6:2 uses a phrase which is translated in almost all versions as “the Sons of
God”. The disagreement involves whether
the “Sons of God” are angelic begins, called Watchers in Enoch or if it refers
to actual human beings.
Deuteronomy
32:8 NET When the Most High gave the nations their
inheritance, when he divided up humankind (the sons of man or the sons of Adam),
he set the boundaries of the peoples, according to the number of the heavenly
assembly.
Deuteronomy
32:8 Brenton LXX (8) When the Most High divided the nations,
when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the nations according
to the number of the angels of God.
The
translation I prefer is given above with the last phrase being “according to the
number of the heavenly assembly” in the NET and “according to the
number of the angels of God” in the Septuagint. Other similar translations include: “according to the number in His heavenly
court NLT”; “according to the number of the sons of El” Concordant Literal; “according
to the number of the cherubs of Elohim” Hebraic Roots Bible.
Translations
based on the Masoretic text, as if the Masoretic is the true Word of God,
employ this phrase as “according to the number of the
children of Israel” such as the KJV.
This implies that the children of Israel always refers to a mention of
the “sons of God”.
The Table of Nations given in Genesis 10 and 11 catalogs
seventy nations, but Israel is not
included because it did not yet exist. Both
Genesis 46:27 and Exodus 1:5 state that seventy members of Jacob’s family went
to Egypt in the days of Joseph.
Little
thought was given, however, to the logic
of the correlation: How is it that the number of
the pagan nations was determined in relation to an entity (Israel)
or individuals (Jacob and his household) that did not yet exist?
Even if one contends that the correlation was in the mind of God
before Israel's
existence and only recorded much later, what possible
point would there be behind connecting the pagan Gentile nations numerically with the Israelites?
On
the other hand what could possibly be meant by the notion that a
correspondence existed between the number of the
nations in Genesis 10-11 and heavenly beings?
An explanation from the NET
notes is given below:
The Hebrew term עֶליוֹן (’elyon)
is an abbreviated form of the divine name El Elyon, frequently
translated "God Most High" (so here NCV, CEV) or something similar.
This full name (or epithet) occurs only in Genesis 14, though the two elements
are parallel in Psa_73:11; Psa_107:11;
etc. Here it is clear that Elyon has to do with the nations in general whereas
in Deu_32:9, by contrast, Yahweh
relates specifically to Israel. The title depicts God as the sovereign ruler of
the world, who is enthroned high above his dominion.

(so KJV).

"the sons of Israel." The idea, perhaps, is that Israel was
central to Yahweh’s
purposes and all other nations were arranged and distributed according to how
they related to Israel.
For the Masoretic Text (MT) יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּנֵי (beney yisra’el, "sons of Israel") a Qumran fragment has "sons of
God," while the Septuagint (LXX) reads ἀγγέλων θεοῦ
(angelōn theou, "angels of God"), presupposing בְּנֵי אֵל (beney ’el) or בְּנֵי אֵלִים (beney ’elim). "Sons of God" is undoubtedly the original reading; the
Masoretic Text (MT) and Septuagint (LXX) have each interpreted it differently.
Masoretic Text (MT) assumes that the expression "sons of God" refers
to Israel (cf. Hos_1:10), while
Septuagint (LXX) has assumed that the phrase refers to the angelic heavenly
assembly (Psa_29:1; Psa_89:6; cf. as well Psalms 82). The phrase is
also attested in Ugaritic, where it refers to the high god El’s divine
assembly. According to the latter view, which is reflected in the translation,
the Lord delegated jurisdiction over the nations to his angelic host (cf. Dan_10:13-21),
while reserving for himself Israel,

Princes
The
book of Daniel refers to (angelic) spiritual beings who control by authority
(from God?) various beast systems such as Persia and Greece. The remaining beast systems such as Babylon
and Rome would also have a prince in controlling authority.
Prince:
Word Study - śar: A masculine noun meaning a chieftain, a
chief, a ruler, an official, a captain, a prince. The primary usage is official
in the sense that this individual has immediate authority as the leader.
Daniel 10:13

However, the prince of the kingdom of Persia was opposing me for twenty-one
days. But Michael, one of the leading princes, came to help me, because I was
left there with the kings of Persia.
Daniel
10:20-21 NET
He said, "Do you know why I have come to you? Now I am about to return to
engage in battle with the prince of Persia. When I go, the prince of Greece is
coming. (21) However, I will first tell you what is written in a dependable
book. (There is no one who strengthens me against these princes, except Michael
your prince.
Daniel 12:1

"At that time Michael, the great prince who watches over your people, will
arise. There will be a time of distress unlike any other from the nation's
beginning up to that time. But at that time your own people, all those whose
names are found written in the book, will escape.
All
other nations, including but not limited to, the original 70 nations from the
Table of Nations would reasonably have a Prince (angelic Watcher) controlling
their actions.
According
to 2nd Peter 2:4 the angels who sinned were imprisoned in a place
called Tartarus until Judgement Day. If
the “angels who sinned” (called Watchers by Enoch) were the original princes of
the nations, it would be necessary to replace them after the flood during the
time of Noah.

and locked them up in chains in utter darkness, to be kept until the (day of) judgment.
From Dr. Jones: The religious
beast from the sea (Atargatis, the Mermaid) and the financial beast from the
earth (Federal Reserve Bank) are ready to be overthrown
Dr.
Jones identifies the spirit called Atargatis as perhaps being the Prince
controlling the religious beast from the sea.
This beast arising from the sea has been identified as the Holy Roman
Empire or the Papacy; Vatican; or Roman Church.
Atargatis is also presumably controlling the actions of the earth beast
(the 2nd beast) which eventually became the Rothschild’s central
banking empire with the USA based Federal Reserve system as the controlling
power behind the other central banking operations.
President
Trump and his team are reportedly attempting to bring down the Federal Reserve,
which controls the Universal Petrol Dollar (with Russia, China, and others
attempting not to use the Petrol Dollar).
This has caused panic within the Deep State in the USA and around the
world. It appears, according to Dr.
Jones, that certain elements within the Sea beast, the Earth beast, and Deep
State operatives have employed the services of a sorcerer to extend the life of
the Revelation 13 beasts.
ATARGATIS
Atargatis is generally identified as a Syrian goddess usually pictured
as a Mermaid (half human and half fish).
This
goddess is also linked to Phoenicia which is the Mediterranean coastline of
Syria. She is also associated with
Cyprus, an island off the coast of Phoenicia/Syria.
Although
it is generally considered that angelic entities can take any form (without any
scriptural proof) (i.e. male or female) it is uncertain if Atargatis is a
Prince as of Deut. 32:8 or one like Daniel’s the prince of Persia.
This
entity is a spirit. Whether or not it
actually took human form in the past is unknown.

Atargatis, great goddess of northern
Syria; her chief sanctuary was at Hierapolis
(modern Manbij), northeast of Aleppo, where she was worshiped with her consort,
Hadad. Her ancient temple
there was rebuilt about 300 bc by Queen Stratonice,
wife of
Seleucus I, and it was perhaps partly as a result of that Greek patronage
that her cult, carried by Greek merchants and mercenaries, spread to various

Atargatis
is a Syrian Goddess of the moon and of the waters. She is also known by the names Derceto and Dea
Syriae. She was born in the Euphrates,
"...like Aphrodite from the foam of the sea." Local coins confirm that Atargatis was
worshipped at Hierapolis, where she had her own shrine and rites.
According
to legend, Atargatis was the mother of the great Assyrian queen, Semiramis.
Her mythical story tells us that,
after causing the death of her mortal lover and Semiramis' father, Hadad, she
jumped into a lake and assumed the form of a fish. The water, however, could not hide her divine
nature, causing her to take the form of a woman above the waist and a fish
below. For this reason, she

worships a cursed mermaid whom they call Atargatis, also known as Doceto. “In
Ashdod the male god, Dagon, destroys women and the fruit of their womb through
human sacrifice. He competes with Atargatis, his consort, for dominion,
teaching all that marriage is a competition for dominance between male and
female.

is a female counterpart to Dagon,” Dogma said. “She is worshiped in Ashkelon,
where I was born. She is Atargatis, a fish goddess, a mermaid, who destroys men
and manhood. Atargatis and Dagon compete with each other, but in the end, they
both serve the purpose of the Nephilim by corrupting and destroying men and
women, in the attempt to prevent the Son of God from being born.”

not forget that both temples are inspired by the serpent,” Sipporah added. “The
fundamental problem does not originate with the Nephilim, but with the serpent
