WILL EVERY EYE SEE HIM?

The comments appearing below are mostly “so-called educated” observations of the soon-coming Millennial Kingdom of God proclivities.  Again, they represent only my personal thoughts and observations.  They may or may not be true, although I expect they may be fairly accurate.

Considering the Hebrews leaving their captivity (i.e. slavery) in Egypt, God sent 10 plagues on the people within that area (that we know about).

1.   Water to Blood: Ex. 7:14–24

2.   Frogs: Ex. 7:25–8:15

3.   Lice or gnats: Ex. 8:16-19

4.   Wild animals or flies: Ex. 8:20-32

5.   Pestilence of livestock: Ex. 9:1–7

6.   Boils: Ex. 9:8–12

7.   Thunderstorm of hail and fire: Ex. 9:13–35

8.   Locusts: Ex. 10:1–20

9.   Darkness for three days: Ex. 10:21–29

                10.        Death of firstborn: Ex. 11:1–12:36

After leaving Egypt, the Hebrews successfully crossed some portion of the Red Sea by means of the water being divided (by God).  Now, there is no doubt in my mind that all of these things happened as they were claimed to happen.  However, never once did God show Himself as the perpetrator of these events.  If so, then the Egyptians would not have followed the Hebrews to the Red Sea.  They would have known the Hebrews were a lost cause with a ceasefire.

There are other written God-miracles contained within the Bible.  In some instances God may send some known knowledge to one person such as a prophet or the person in charge of a certain operation but it is never announced to the populace at large.

The life of Jesus, the Son of God, or God in the flesh represents a certain detour with the dealings of God in the life of people.  Jesus performed miracles, instant miracles that did not require an extended healing process.  Mostly to individual people.  However, only to a small group of people with no main stream media such as television shows.  The coming Kingdom of God will contain cameras, internet, and a high-ended MSM.  How will this play out?

Before long, it will be necessary for God to bring dead people back to life through the first resurrection.  Also shortly thereafter, a certain group of living people will be given an eternal life as well.  Will every eye actually, physically see Him?  The answer is uncertain, although every Christian (or anyone with knowledge of the events) could possibly have an opinion.

My Opinion

As can be seen in other Biblical miracles, God does not always proclaim Himself to the world as the miracle maker.  In the soon coming first resurrection, although it is possible, there may not be widespread physical evidence of God as the resurrection agent, at all. 

The phrase, “He is returning with the clouds, and every eye will see Him” is related to Zechariah 12:10, particularly the items such as “pierced” and “mourn or lament”.

Revelation 1:7 NET (Look! He is returning with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all the tribes on the earth will mourn because of him. This will certainly come to pass! Amen.)

Zechariah 12:10 NET "I will pour out on the kingship of David and the population of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication so that they will look to me, the one they have pierced. They will lament for him as one laments for an only son, and there will be a bitter cry for him like the bitter cry for a firstborn.

An allusion to, “He is returning with the clouds”.

Daniel 7:13 NET I was watching in the night visions, "And with the clouds of the sky one like a son of man was approaching. He went up to the Ancient of Days and was escorted before him.

But does it mean that physically, every eye will see or view Him?  Revelation 1:7 states that “this will certainly come to pass”.  Without getting too bogged down in Greek definitions it may not mean “physically” at all.

From various studies, the word defined as “eye” literally means an eye.  The word “see” actually means, “To see, perceive with the eyes, to look at, trans. implying not only the mere act of seeing but also the actual perception of what one sees”, according to the Greek Word Study Dictionary.  Recall this statement was spoken by Jesus to John so apparently it means that every eye will literally visualize Him in some manner.  Perhaps a dream, or a vision.  The Hal Lindsey version from the 70’s claims that Jesus will appear as a super large object in the sky but even that version would eliminate some people from physically viewing Him.

Matthew 5:38-42 NET  "You have heard that it was said, 'An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.'  (39)  But I say to you, do not resist the evildoer. But whoever strikes you on the right cheek, turn the other to him as well.  (40)  And if someone wants to sue you and to take your tunic, give him your coat also.  (41)  And if anyone forces you to go one mile, go with him two.  (42)  Give to the one who asks you, and do not reject the one who wants to borrow from you.

It is said the Old Testament “eye for an eye” law was originally intended to deal with a societal problem by attempting to limit personal revenge. (Refer to Exodus 21:24, Leviticus 24:20, and Deuteronomy 19:21)  It did not allow individuals or families to take revenge, but was a guideline for the court.

Jesus states we should patiently bear such insults and offences, and not resist an evil person who insults us this way. Instead, we should trust God to defend us. The central truth of this entire section is that Christians should go beyond what others expect of them in this revengeful world of the present.  

It has been commented the purpose is to encourage unbelievers to be attracted to God by the actions of God’s people.  That statement sounds good and it may be a peripheral benefit, but is it the original intent?  The book of Acts contains many references to the persecution of the apostles including:  beatings; prison; stoning; James killed with a sword; Stephan killed by stoning; and others.  In the majority of instances, this persecution added people to the Kingdom of God.  The persecution was almost always initiated by the Jews, the very people to whom the Kingdom was originally presented.  Has anything changed?  

This commandment of Jesus can be difficult for the people of today, even professing Christians.  Fortunately, most people live in a society where the extremes of the commandment are rarely an issue, but for how long?  For the Christians living in the Middle East, China, India, South Asia, and several other places, it is currently a major concern.  The group known as the Illuminati/elete and their subgroups along with the Zionist Jews who seem to control Hollywood, MSM, pornography, banks, the USG, Israel, and other infrastructures around the world do not care for any organized religion.  These religions include Christian, Judaism, and Islam.  Yes, it is true, the Zionist leaders dislike actual professing Jews who worship in synagogues.  From several articles that have been written, professing Jews aren’t particularly fond of the war-mongering controlling Zionists either.  The goal of the new world order is to eliminate all monotheistic religions other than perhaps Luciferism.

Albert Pike

Albert Pike (1809 – 1891):  Southern Brigadier General during the civil war; Grand Commander of North American Freemasonry (1859-1891); purported organizer of the KKK; and Illuminati member with Adam Weishaupt and Giusseppe Mazzini.

It is presumed that Pike experienced occult conversations with a demon acting as a spirit guide.  Information from some of these conversations was written in a letter to Mazzini.  The letter was supposedly encased in a glassed frame in a London library.  Prior to WW1 it apparently disappeared from the library and is now being denied that it ever existed.  It was copied by a Canadian Naval officer prior to its disappearance and that is the version available today.  Supposedly written before WW1, it predicted there will be three world wars to prepare the earth for the rule of Lucifer.  (Pike never uses the name Satan).  The first two world wars went as Pike predicted.  We are still waiting for the third one.  Following is the script of WWIII from Pike’s letter:

"The Third World War must be fomented by taking advantage of the differences caused by the "agentur" of the "Illuminati" between the political Zionists and the leaders of the Islamic World. The war must be conducted in such a way that Islam (the Moslem Arabic World) and political Zionism (the State of Israel) mutually destroy each other. Meanwhile the other nations, once more divided on this issue will be constrained to fight to the point of complete physical, moral, spiritual and economical exhaustion…We shall unleash the Nihilists and the atheists, and we shall provoke a formidable social cataclysm which in all its horror will show clearly to the nations the effect of absolute atheism, origin of savagery and of the most bloody turmoil. Then everywhere, the citizens, obliged to defend themselves against the world minority of revolutionaries, will exterminate those destroyers of civilization, and the multitude, disillusioned with Christianity, whose deistic spirits will from that moment be without compass or direction, anxious for an ideal, but without knowing where to render its adoration, will receive the true light through the universal manifestation of the pure doctrine of Lucifer, brought finally out in the public view. This manifestation will result from the general reactionary movement which will follow the destruction of Christianity and atheism, both conquered and exterminated at the same time."

It is my belief that Satan (demons, Lucifer, fallen Angels, whatever) are inveterate liars and that a half-truth is also a lie.  The serpent told Eve a half-truth when he said “you will not surely die”.  Adam and Eve did not immediately die, but they were expelled from Eden without access to the Tree of Life and they eventually died after leading a hard life.  The demon, Lucifer, or Satan told Pike there would be three world wars.  Two have occurred and a third future war appears imminently possible.  

When presented with a non-Biblical prophecy, supposedly from demons or spirit guides, my first reaction is to compare the demon-prophecy with scripture.  If the prophecy appears to be possible within the framework of Biblical eschatology or a Biblically prophetic precursor then it is kept on the table as a possible issue.

Note the letter claims the war will be between Israel and Muslims.  This appears to be a real possibility.  Some modern commentators may claim that it will be the Gog-Magog war of Ezekiel 38-39 except that the Ezekiel invasion of Gog and Magog (and their henchmen) as already occurred with the entrance of the Khazarian Ashkenazi Jews.  These Jews entered Palestine after the issue of the Balfour Declaration in order to clear the land of Palestinians and secure property. Others will say it involves Psalms 83 or the Obadiah prophecy concerning Edom.  Some Bible teachers/students believe and preach the Palestinians are the Edomites.  However, it has been stated by older Jewish encyclopedias, and written in The History of the Jews by Josephus the Edomites were conquered by the Hasmonean Maccabees and were allowed to become a Jew, in all aspects, rather than to be deported.  This fact is also recorded in the book of 1 Maccabees.  Herod was half Jew and half Edomite.  Any Edomites alive today would be mixed breed Jews living in the modern state of Israel.

As mentioned above, the goal of the new world order (and predicted by Pike) is to eliminate all deistic monotheism (the belief in one God through reason).  The Albert Pike WWIII would essential eliminate Islam and Judaism if events go as planned.  The contracted effects of a WWIII, according to Pike, would confuse Christians and atheists to the point of disillusionment so as to minimize their influence.  This would produce a climate hospitable to a new world religion of idolatry in the form of a Luciferian (or Satanic) mindset.

The primary issue with the above predictive plan is the power it is based on:  which would be the power of Satan and demons.  They may call their “god” Lucifer but the actual power may be Satan, although Satan can do nothing unless God allows it.  As said earlier, Satan is a liar and does not tell the complete truth.  Satan may have a variation of the plan.  He apparently does not intend to share the power of the world with anyone:  whether they are Illuminati; CFR; Zionists; Council of 13; or City of London bankers.
