The Apostle Paul Exhorts the
Evolutionists

former evolutionist who became a Christian and later a Creationist. He provided most of the outline for this particular
article.
Romans 1:16 NET For I am not ashamed of the
gospel, for it is God's power for salvation to everyone who believes, to the
Jew first and also to the Greek.
Jews
and Greeks include everyone in the world.
The word “Greek” is can also be translated as Gentiles or Nations and
that would be anyone and everyone who is not a Jew or Judahite. The word “Greek”, in this instance could have
a double meaning in that Greeks (and the Romans) were practiced evolutionists
although they did not employ the term “evolution” or its equivalent. They believed that all people evolved from
lower forms of animals and other objects.
They even invented myths of the evolution of their pantheon of “gods”
Anaximander,
2300 years ago, taught that fish walked out of the water and become people.

Corinthians 1:23 NET but we preach about a crucified Christ, a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness
to Gentiles.
An
Old Testament believing Jew essentially believed that God created all things,
including animals and people, but the crucified Christ as the prophesied
Messiah was a stumbling block. This was
a perception many of them could not accept.
However, to the Gentles (Greeks) who did not believe in a Creator God
but rather a form of evolution, the Son of God (a crucified Christ) was
complete foolishness. Paul had to
convince many of the Athenian Greeks the existence of a Creator God before he
could teach the crucified and resurrected Jesus Christ.
Romans
1:18 NET For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against
all ungodliness and unrighteousness of people who suppress the truth by their unrighteousness,
Some individuals are actually mentally convinced that
evolution is a fact and others could care less about it. However, those who know or suspect that
evolution is not true but teach and preach it anyway are suppressing the truth by their unrighteousness.
Romans
1:19 NET because what can be known about God is plain to them,
because God has made it plain to them.
Paul
claims that everyone understands or knows there is a God, even the atheist. Everyone in the world worships something and
knows there is something greater than themselves. It may not be a transcendent Creator God but
it is something. It could be an
inanimate object such as a rock or it could be power, money, prestige, etc.
Romans
1:20 NET For since the creation of the world his invisible
attributes -- his eternal power and divine nature -- have been clearly seen,
because they are understood through what has been made. So people are without excuse (without reason)
(without a defense).

apology or excuse, inexcusable; that which cannot be defended
It
is claimed by Paul that God is known through the things He has made. A design requires a designer. Anything that can be seen or touched must
have been made by someone. A simple tree
has more design complexity than a large city yet the evolutionists want you to
believe it came about by random chance.
Romans
1:21 NET For although they knew God, they did not glorify him
as God or give him thanks, but they became futile in their thoughts and their
senseless hearts were darkened.
The word futile can also be defined as foolish, wicked, or
idolatrous. Dr.
McMurtry defines an idol as “anything that stands between you and God whether
it is an object or some type of force.”
Romans 1:22

Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools (insipid or tasteless)
Dr.
McMurtry claims the correct translation of Romans 1:22 should be “Claiming to
be wise they became mentally useless.
Romans
1:23 NET and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for an
image resembling mortal human beings or birds or four-footed animals or
reptiles.
Why did they become mentally useless? Paul gives the answer in verse 23. They exchanged the worship of a Creator God
to a creature created by God: such as
another human being, a bird, a general animal, or a reptile. They glorified and worshipped the creation as
an evolutionist rather than worshipping the God who created the objects and
life forms they worship.
Romans 1:24
NET
Therefore God gave them over in the desires of their hearts to impurity, to
dishonor their bodies among themselves.
Romans 1:24 NIV Therefore God
gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another.
Therefore,
because they are essentially evolutionists, their thoughts and desires were
directed toward sexual impurity with one another or with animals or objects.
Romans
1:25 NET They exchanged the truth of God for a lie and
worshiped and served the creation rather than the Creator, who is blessed
forever! Amen.
Paul
claims the evolutionist minded people have exchanged the truth of creation for
a complete lie and began worshipping and serving the creation rather than the
Creator God. What are consequences for
people who accept the lie? Paul gives us
a list of these particular consequences in verses in Romans 1:26-32.
Romans
1:26-27 NET For this reason God gave them over to dishonorable
passions. For their women exchanged the natural sexual relations for unnatural
ones, (27) and likewise the men also abandoned natural relations with women and
were inflamed in their passions for one another. Men committed shameless acts
with men and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.
Paul
begins his list saying that women have become lesbians and that men have become
homosexuals. This was true in the days
of Paul in Greece and Rome and this aberrant behavior has been written about
for several centuries prior to Paul. These
activities seem to have either been miniscule or well hidden within the USA and
Europe until recently due to the strong Christian ethnicity among the descendants
of the northern tribes. However, as the
rise of evolutionary teachings in the public schools, colleges, TV shows, and movies
have increased exponentially, along with the efforts of the ACLU and other
leftist organizations to remove God from public life, these unlawful activities
have witnessed a sharp rise in both practice and acceptance.
Romans
1:29-32 NET They are filled with every kind of unrighteousness,
wickedness, covetousness, malice. They are rife with envy, murder, strife,
deceit, hostility. They are gossips, (30) slanderers, haters of God, insolent,
arrogant, boastful, contrivers of all sorts of evil, disobedient to parents,
(31) senseless, covenant-breakers, heartless, ruthless. (32) Although they
fully know God's righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve
to die, they not only do them but also approve of those who practice them.
They
are filled with unrighteousness, wickedness (whoredom), evil, greed
(covetousness), and malice (depravity).
They
are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, and hostility (malice).
The word “murder” mentioned
by Paul is murder of all kinds including abortion, homicide, suicide, and school
violence.
The Columbine shooters wrote
prior to their killing spree that their inspiration was because they had been
taught evolution at that particular High School. I.E. they considered themselves superior and
their fellow students as inferior and thus, they had the right to kill them.
They
are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant, and boastful.
They
invent ways of performing evil deeds and thoughts (inventors of evil things).
They
are disobedient to parents.
They
are senseless (lack understanding) (unintelligent).
They
are covenant-breakers (lawless) (faithless)
They
are heartless (and ruthless) (without natural affection) (implacable)
(unmerciful)
As more evolutionary ideas are broadcast into the
public, there is a corresponding increase in homosexuals, transgenders, etc. If
children are taught they are merely a thinking animal how would one expect them
to act or treat each other? This is a
natural consequence of teaching evolution in the schools.
To the child of God many of the items in Paul’s list
are considered disgusting which could be compared to watching a Gay Rights
Parade. However, during this parade many
of the sideline people watching the parade clap their hands as if they believe
it is a correct and wonderful thing which means these people “also approve of those who practice them”.
