HOW TO ACHIEVE SALVATION

Prior to delving into the current topic (i.e. How to Achieve Salvation) there are a few things I should tell all of my readers.  You may have noticed that I have not composed any personal interpretations of the Scriptures in quite a while.  Other writers, particularly Dr. Stephen Jones and Henry Macow, have taken a place on this blog.  However this article has been constructed by me (over a certain period of time) and there may be others coming.

The reason for this lack of articles is that certain elements have occurred in my life, that do not allow my mind (or brain) to function as fluently as in the past.  Also, it has come to my understanding that the Lord, Jesus Christ, will be setting up His Millennial Kingdom before too much longer and the majority of the important information has already been published.

There are some current events and occurrences that I would like to discuss, if I may.  If one lives in the USA it should be apparent that new world order people are presently pulling out all the stops to shut down:  the government, the economy, and President Trump. 

I feel relatively certain that Mr. Trump will win a second term.  Otherwise, how will he ever be in the loop of erasing the current Babylonian Empire.  Dr. Jones has already told us, by his dates and their meaning, that the Mystery, Babylon reign has been ended.  It is now just a matter of time.

Of course, Mr. Trump could be beaten by Biden (or some other person).  It just depends upon the plans of God.  Always keep in mind that God is in complete and total control and always will be.  If Mr. Trump does not get a second term it will be because of the will of God.

Mr. Trump has endured a never ending source of conflicts with the Congressional Democrats.  It began with an attempt of impeachment.  When that went sideways the Covid 19 debacle began.  The question is:  who began the Corona Covid plague?  It could be China or someone or something else.  It could be the deep state.

Why is China currently acting so strange?  Remember, during the Obama years China was set up to be the primary industrial nation in the world and this is still the plan of the NWO deep state and Democrats.  The Chinese government has built massive cities around China with no population.  These cities were designed to hold the populations that would be working in the new world order’s manufacturing.  That is why Hillary Clinton was allowing the Chinese to download whatever they wanted from her stay-at-home website.  She was feeding them future information.

The Democratic Party governors, mayors, judges, and prosecutors are using the Covid 19 so-called plague to launch massive shutdowns of small businesses and Churches.  It has been said that their goal for the shutdowns is to wreak the economy of the USA and, of course, there is a war on Christianity.  The thinking is, if the economy is shutdown then Mr. Trump’s reelection would appear slim to impossible.

Almost at the same time of the Covid 19 plague, the death of a black man supposedly caused by a white policeman began the Antifa campaign in mostly Democratic cities and states.  The Antifa and “Black Lives Matter” groups are NOT doing anything constructive.  They are burning property, looting, killing people, and generally acting as if they are at war with the world.  They are definitely at war with the USA.

They appear to be really concerned about destroying statues.  Many of you readers may be upset about this episode of statue toppling and ripping off the heads of said statues.  However, we must keep in mind that the Lord Jesus will soon be setting up His Millennial Kingdom.  Would He want these statues congregated around the world?  Perhaps - perhaps not.  Could it be that God is instigating this action?  I don’t know, but the idea is worthy of some thought.

SALVATION - AS WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF LUKE

Gaining salvation first requires repenting of past sins.  Claiming that one will not “sin again” is impossible because that is what happens in the world.  A human will sin.

But the next phase is the most important one i.e. do something that elevates the Kingdom of God on this earth.  This is not a faith versus works argument.  It is a real life proposition.  As James claimed no works means you have no faith.  Doing nothing demonstrates absolutely no faith.  If the repented person does not have the Kingdom of God on their mind – then what is on their mind?  If the Kingdom of God is on one’s mind, then will naturally desire to do something about it and make it better.

A reader may ask, “Well what about so-called carnal Christians?”  Keep in mind that it is simple to believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.  Does that make one a Christian?  Remember that all who have died will be make alive at the second resurrection.  There will be no doubt in anyone’s mind that Jesus Christ is God/the Son of God.  However there will be many who will then believe this but they are not ready for citizenship within the Kingdom.  They must be disciplined and brought to the correct frame of mind within the so-called “lake of fire”.

Luke 12:47-48 NET That servant who knew his master's will but did not get ready or do what his master asked will receive a severe beating. (48) But the one who did not know his master's will and did things worthy of punishment will receive a light beating. From everyone who has been given much, much will be required, and from the one who has been entrusted with much, even more will be asked.

John the Baptist, prior to the arrival of Jesus, claimed that the baptized should produce fruit because this proves their repentance.  No fruit equals no repentance in John’s mindset.  Apparently, they thought having Abraham as their father exempted them from any meaningful work via the Kingdom.

Via John the Baptist - Luke 3:8-9 NET Therefore produce fruit that proves your repentance, and don't begin to say to yourselves, 'We have Abraham as our father.' …… (9) Even now the ax is laid at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire."  (i.e. God’s Lake of Fire)

What will occur with those not producing fruit?  The text claims they will be cut down and thrown into the fire.  Most readers assume this fire is the fire of a near deadly hell-fire that will consume, without killing, all who are thrown within.  But that is not true.  This fire is known as a stream of fire flowing from the throne of god in Daniel, and a lake of fire as found in the Revelation.  This is the fiery judgment of God.  Some will be in this judgment for a short period and others for possibly a millennium.

Later in Luke 6 Jesus said to His audience, “Why call be Lord and not do what I say?”  Again Jesus is claiming that good works, or fruit, is necessary for the Kingdom.

Luke 6:46 NET "Why do you call me 'Lord, Lord,' and don't do what I tell you?

In the next chapter, i.e. Luke 7, a woman viewed Jesus entering a Pharisee’s house for dinner.  After everyone was seated she came in and began to wet his feet with her tears. She wiped them with her hair, kissed them, and anointed them with perfumed oil.  Jesus said to her, “Your faith has saved you.”  Not her works, but her works through her faith in Him gave her salvation.

Luke 7:50 NET He said to the woman, "Your faith has saved you; go in peace."

The parable of the sower in Luke 8 demonstrates four methods the word of God may be heard.  Only the fourth method results in a desire to cohere to the word and bear fruit.  The result must always lead to producing fruit, or good deeds, for the Kingdom.

Luke 8:15 NET But as for the seed that landed on good soil, these are the ones who, after hearing the word, cling to it with an honest and good heart, and bear fruit with steadfast endurance.

Luke 8 contains several more examples that Jesus gave to His followers to demonstrate the hearing of the word which results in good fruit being produced.  For example, no one lights a lamp and hides it.

Luke 8:16 NET "No one lights a lamp and then covers it with a jar or puts it under a bed, but puts it on a lampstand so that those who come in can see the light.

When told His mother and brothers were waiting to see Him, Jesus expanded on this comment by saying that anyone who hears the word of God, and DOES IT (very important) are his mother and brothers.

Luke 8:21 NET But he replied to them, "My mother and my brothers are those who hear the word of God and do it."

Later, in Luke 8, Jesus and His disciples sail to a region of the Gerasenes, where they met a demonic man.  After being cured, the demonic person asked to follow along with them but Jesus told him to go home and “declare what God has done for you.”

Luke 8:39 NET "Return to your home, and declare what God has done for you." So he went away, proclaiming throughout the whole town what Jesus had done for him.

There are many other verses in Luke and the other three Gospels to totally validate that a true Christian (a member of the Kingdom of God) must produce good works for the Kingdom.  These works must be initiated self-consciously without thinking otherwise they are not real.
