Who Is a Jew – Part 2

As previously reported in the article, Who or What is a Jew? , Jesus the Christ (Messiah) appeared during His first advent to inherit and secure the dominion blessing as King of Judah.  This dominion promise was bestowed upon Jacob’s son, Judah, then became a reality with David and the apparent kingship was cutoff with Zedekiah, when he and his sons were killed in Babylon.  [More on this subject can be found at the following link:  Jeremiah's Final Mission ] 

After the resurrection of Jesus, His first followers were Judeans (or Jews).  Jesus was the good fig tree and his Judeans followers were the good figs and were branches of the good fig tree.  The gentile (or nations) believers were grafted onto the trunk of the good fig tree and essentially became wild fruit bearing branches.  They may have been apple producers or pear producers but they were still grafted onto, or a branch of the Judean fig tree because Jesus was and is the King of Judah.  The Christian must bear fruit of their capability, but not necessarily figs.

The remainder of the Judeans, Edomite converts, and Samaritans became the bad figs of Jeremiah 24 and were cut off and cursed to never again bear fruit.

Matthew 21:19 NET  After noticing a fig tree by the road he went to it, but found nothing on it except leaves. He said to it, "Never again will there be fruit from you!" And the fig tree withered at once.

The deceived Bible teachers, preachers, expositors, and others who continue to believe the current nation of Israel constitute the chosen people of God are totally mistaken.  Using this falsehood as a basis for their prophetic understanding, they have almost everything backwards and contrary to the actual plan of God.  Practically on a daily basis someone posts an article stating that Russia is ratcheting up the Gog-Magog invasion of Israel.  This is totally untrue.  The invasion has already taken place.

The modern nation of Israel constitutes the Gog of Magog invasion of un-walled villages without bars and gates beginning in the 40’s with the takeover of Palestine by the British (real Israel).  The initiated faux-Jews Balfour resolution allowed so-called Jews (terrorists) to immigrate to Palestine; murder the Arabs living there; commit terrorist attacks on the British; and take over the land and establish a state called Israel.  These faux-Jews consisted of Khazar converts from Russia (Targomah) and Eastern Europe; Ashkanazi-Khazar Jews from Germany (Gomer); and Edomite Jews from Iran (Persia); and other Edomite Jews from places mentioned in Ezekiel 38 and 39.  The concept of Russia, Iran, and a few other countries invading nuclear armed Israel is preposterous.  Israel has previously and repeatedly stated their Edomite Samson option – if they go down everyone goes down with them.

Israel is now one of the most protected countries in the world. The invasion has already taken place. Only the wrath of God is left to be fulfilled. All Scofield, dispensational, pre-trib rapture people have been duped. The unlawful, Jesus hating Israelites are the real enemy with their Edomite bankers, and one-world

Many non-Judahites have been grafted onto the trunk of the fig tree which is Jesus, King of Judah and the Kingdom of God.  Today, it would be considered that the Church is predominately gentile (nations, non-Judahite) with only a small sector of converted Jews.  This fact does not, however, mean the Church is now a total gentile organization but that the Church, in the eyes of God, is a Judahite Church.  A Christian cannot become a Jew by converting to Judaism, because they are already a Judahite member according to God and are the true Israel.  A conversion to Judaism is to switch from being a good fig to the basket of bad or evil figs.

Replacement Theology is mistaken when they assume the fig tree (Jesus) was rooted out and replaced with another tree such as an apple or pear tree.  There is some truth in Replacement Theology:  The Israel of today is not blessed by God but is destined for the wrath of God unless they repent and convert to Christianity.  The Gospels only teach of two trees – a good fig tree and a bad fig tree.  Christians (followers of Jesus) are branches of the good fig tree and those callings themselves Jews (which they are not) are of the bad fig tree.  From Revelation 2:9 and 3:9 we can say that all calling themselves Jews today are of the synagogue of Satan.

Revelation 3:9 NET  Listen! I am going to make those people from the synagogue of Satan — who say they are Jews yet are not, but are lying — Look, I will make them come and bow down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you.

The bad fig tree of Jeremiah 24 was rooted out and today stands poised to receive the wrath of God, but the good fig tree of Jesus Christ continues to carry the Kingdom of God to the Millennium.

It can be said the Church and Judah are the same entity or body.  There have been people of the nations (gentiles, non-Judahites) grafted onto the trunk of the Judah fig tree but the Church, as a whole, is the legitimate tribe of Judah.  There are two groups of Jews or Judeans.  The bad figs of Jeremiah 24 are called “apparent” Jews by the Concordant Literal version because they are recognized as Jews.  The good figs (Christians) are the hidden Judeans which is a truth not known by many.  The apparent Jews claim that circumcision identifies them as legitimate Jews.  The hidden Judeans, even if they have a physical penile circumcision, are recognized by the inner circumcision of their hearts.  The Old Covenant is an obsolete, conditional one that has been broken and abolished.  Only with the inner circumcision of the heart of the New Covenant can one have a true relationship with God.

Hebrews 8:13 NET  When he speaks of a new covenant, he makes the first obsolete. Now what is growing obsolete and aging is about to disappear.

Those of the Hebrew Roots movement and the Pat Boone types who believe they can enhance their Christian status with God by reverting to the Old Covenant Judaism should know they are placing their good figs into the basket of rotten, bad figs.  The Old Covenant of Judaism is obsolete according to Hebrews 8:13 and carries no commendation with God.  A person cut off from the tribe of Judah can technically NOT call themselves a member of the tribe of Judah or a Jew.

Jesus was the King of Judah, not only by right of lineage, but also by right of His life and actions. Therefore, the tribal name carried forth with Jesus and those who followed Him. It did not remain with those who revolted against Him and killed Him in order to seize upon His inheritance. It was the majority of the people, led by the chief priests, who were in revolt and who lost their status as members of the tribe of Judah. But because they had usurped the throne, they were able to convince the world that they were still the “true Jews.” And thus, the name “Jew” has continued to be applied, in the eyes of men, to the bad fig tree that rejected the King of Judah and usurped the throne and the name of Judah.

Today, many in the world call the bad figs “God’s chosen people”.  Messianic Judaism then attempts to promote their Judaic religious practices as a ploy to induce some of them to accept Christ.  The apostles never attempted to induce a Christian to return to various Judaic practices.  This may be the reason some Hebrew roots people despise Paul and the other writings of the New Testament other than the Gospels.

The book of Hebrews was written to show that, as Christians, we have something better than Judaism has to offer. We have a better covenant, a better priesthood, a better temple, and better sacrifices. To revert back to the old rabbinic traditions of Judaism, by which they made void the law of God, is an apostasy for which there is no excuse.

Man defines a Jew as one who submits to the rabbis of Judaism or the priests of Levi who reject Jesus Christ. God defines a Jew as one who submits to Jesus, the King of Judah, who is also the High Priest after the Order of Melchizedek.
