From Him & Through Him are All Things

FROM HIM AND THROUGH HIM ARE ALL THINGS

10-19-2018

Before the creation act of God there was nothing anywhere other than God.  There were no planets, no stars, no universe, no space, no debris, no angels, there was absolutely nothing other than the existence and power of God.  It is likely that angels were created prior to the earth and humanity.

The concept of time and/or elapsed time did not exist either, thus it cannot be said how long this condition sustained itself before acts of creation took place i.e. how much time can be said to be no time at all.

Everything that is now seen or thought to be seen, even with the aid of a telescope is a creation of God.  This origin concept may be difficult to comprehend because it appears to be ingrained within the human psyche that space and time have always existed in some form.

Some scientists claim that at the beginning the only thing that existed was some type of matter scattered throughout the interstellar existence, although they do not acknowledge the manner of the creation of this matter.  i.e. they claim that matter has always existed but where did it come from?  By their explanation, this pre-existing and always existing matter, for some reason, gravitated together to form an extremely condensed ball of highly compacted super-matter.  This ball became so compact and condensed that it exploded from some central point of location, went in all directions and then established and coalesced itself into stars, then planets, and other elemental fragments and forms.  They refer to this theory as “the big bang”.

From what substance, if any, did God create all things?  Some creation professors state that God created all things ex-nihilo, that is, from nothing.  Never let it be said that God is not capable of creating something from nothing, but nothing is still “nothing” and the only thing existing is and was God who is a spiritual being and it is doubtful, but not impossible, that God created everything from nothing.  God is a spirit and He is something rather than nothing.

Thus, if it is maintained that God did not create everything from nothing, but from something else, what something else was there?  There was only God so it would seem correct to say, and Paul strongly appears to back up this statement by saying that God created everything from Himself.

In Romans 11:36 Paul states, “For from him and through him and to him are all things”.  All things, whether physical or spiritual, come from (ek, "out of") Him”.  Paul is telling us that God created everything from Himself and through Himself (i.e. “all creation came out of the being of God”).  Thus, it can be said that not one single atom was created from nothing, and there was no pre-existent matter prior to creation.  The only thing that existed prior to creation was God and God created all things from His very Being.  Thus, all things consist of God’s spiritual being or self.

Scientists have discerned that all matter, (i.e. solid, liquid, or vapor) are composed of smaller particles which are composed of even smaller particles and according to the quantum theory can behave as waves.  According to scientists, particles or their wave counterparts can be in two places at once and exhibit speeds faster than that of light.  It was once considered a truth that the speed of light was the ultimate speed but that no longer appears to be correct.

According to the quantum theory, energy is held to be emitted and absorbed in tiny, discrete amounts. An individual bundle or packet of energy, thus behaves in some situations much like particles of matter and some particles are found to exhibit certain wavelike properties when in motion and are no longer viewed as localized in a given region but rather as spread out to some degree.

The quantum theory thus proposes a dual nature for both waves and particles, one aspect predominating in some situations, the other predominating in other situations.

Quantum physics expresses new rules that defy intuition. Traditionally these are expressed as paradoxes: particles that can be in two places at once, apparently impossible faster-than-light signaling between distant particles.

Some molecular particles exhibit mass and other types of particles appear not to have any mass that is measurable.  A search for the particle that creates mass is officially called the Higgs boson but has acquired the name of “the God particle”.  Whether this second name is appropriate or not remains to be proven.

The "God particle" is the nickname of a subatomic particle called the Higgs Boson. In layman’s terms, different subatomic particles are responsible for giving matter different properties. One of the most mysterious and important properties is mass. Some particles, like protons and neutrons, have mass. Others, like photons, do not. The Higgs boson, or “God particle,” is believed to be the particle which gives mass to matter.

It has been said by scientists that matter cannot be created or destroyed.  When a stack of wood is set on fire the mass that was wood changes to a different type of mass i.e. ashes.  The energy contained in the wood has been released initially in the form of heat which then dissipates into the atmosphere (or the universe).  Thus it is possible to claim that neither mass or energy can be created or destroyed.  Both can only be changed to another form of mass or energy.

From the elementary courses of science, one of the first two things that are always taught are:

1) Two matters containing mass cannot occupy in the same space and time.
2) Matter cannot be created or destroyed.

Many people visualize God as a bearded white haired man sitting in a throne in heaven.  However, God is a Spirit.  He exists in spirit form although He may take any form that He chooses such as Jesus Christ (i.e. God in human form).

John 4:24 NET God is spirit, and the people who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."

God is also envisioned as fire.  Fire is energy.  God is not an ordinary fire.  He is a spiritual fire of pure God energy.  The universe (i.e. all creation) is energy packaged into various forms of matter.  Everything and everyone is a form of energy or energy-matter because everything and everyone was created and energized by God.  What causes energy to have mass?  No one actually knows and it is doubtful that scientists will ever discover the actual Higgs Boson or “God particle” that gives mass to energy and energy-mass to all created things.

Deuteronomy 4:24 NET For the LORD your God is a consuming fire;

Daniel 7:9-10 NET "….. His throne was ablaze with fire and its wheels were all aflame. (10) A river of fire was streaming forth and proceeding from his presence. Many thousands were ministering to him; Many tens of thousands stood ready to serve him. The court convened and the books were opened.

The Purpose of This Religion and Science Lesson
Some readers of this article may be asking themselves, “What is the point of this religion and science class lesson?”  To restate Paul’s comment in Romans 11:36, “For from him and through him and to him are all things.  All things, whether physical or spiritual, come from Him”.  All human beings whether good or evil, mass murderers or saints are comprised of the spiritual energy-mass of God.

Many credible and/or so-called Christians believe the “Lake of Fire” is an actual hell of fire designed to forever punish certain evil individuals.  Others believe that even people who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord (i.e. saved) will also experience this forever burning but never burning up hell of eternal fire.

The Bible, was originally written in (mostly) Hebrew and Greek. It uses the Hebrew word sheʼohlʹ (sheol) and its Greek equivalent haiʹdes (hades) more than 70 times. Both words are related to the aftermath of death or the grave.  The Greeks even have some fanciful and entertaining myths concerning Hades.  The King James (and some other versions) seem to translate hades as hell.  The KJV and others even translate the place Gehenna, spoken by Jesus, as hell.  This interpretation can be confusing to those without a handy Greek-English thesaurus and many consider the KJV appearance of hell as the actual place of hell-fire and not death or the grave.

As for the actual word 'Hell'...according to Wikipedia "The modern English word Hell is derived from Old English hel, helle (about 725 AD to refer to a nether world of the dead) reaching into the Anglo-Saxon pagan period, and ultimately from Proto-Germanic *halja, meaning "one who covers up or hides something...

Try to understand that even Adolph Hitler, Mussolini, and Mao se Tung were created from the essence of God.  God will not destroy or vacate any part of Himself, even if that were possible.  You may not acknowledge the concept of universal reconciliation, which is considered heresy by some, but God will not lose, misplace, or destroy any part of Himself.  Everything is made from God and God will reclaim all of His creation.

As Paul proclaims it, “God will be all in all”.

1 Corinthians 15:28 NET (28) And when all things are subjected to him, then the Son himself will be subjected to the one who subjected everything to him, so that God may be all in all.

Universal reconciliation is the concept that every person, entity, and object created by God will be reconciled to God as stated above in 1 Corinthians 15:28.  Everyone will be resurrected to receive correction and training in the ways and laws of God. It may take a few thousand years of Millennial time for some but everyone will acknowledge and accept the laws of God. Every knee will willingly bow and worship God as the Lord of all creation.

According to historical records, Universal Reconciliation was the majority belief of the church during the first five centuries of the Church and the majority of the early Church Fathers.  Through infighting, jealousy, and outright heresy among unscrupulous churchmen who conducted Church Councils after the year 400 AD, the doctrine was soon disregarded then completely eliminated.

Some may ask, “If there will be Universal Reconciliation why get “saved”?”  Salvation or acknowledging the Lordship of Christ makes one a citizen of the Kingdom of God.  As a Kingdom citizen or servant, one will devote his or her life to the building up of God’s soon coming Millennial Kingdom.  A truly dedicated person may even qualify as an elect overcomer and be a part of the first resurrection although a religion of works will defeat ones purpose.  If one deviates from the initial salvation understanding they will experience the second resurrection and may receive only a slight reprimand before obtaining a glorified bodily existence.  The unsaved or an atheist, agnostic, or some other fringe religion may experience a greater degree of chastisement or reprimand.

The Scofield Bible reference notes are also responsible for giving life to the idea of a burning hell as eternal punishment for unsaved sinners and unrepentant, ungodly individuals.  This disregards the scriptural statements claiming that Jesus died “for ALL people” and that “at the name of Jesus every knee should bow”.  Are these people to confess that Jesus is Lord and then be placed into the fiery furnace of hell?

God is fire and the Lake of Fire is the fire of God. Its purpose is mainly correction and a relearning process although some have speculated that various types of individuals will be severely punished but not destroyed – they will eventually be healed and receive a glorified body but with less rewards or no rewards than the elect of those only slightly reprimanded.

Luke 12:45-48 NET But if that slave should say to himself, 'My master is delayed in returning,' and he begins to beat the other slaves, both men and women, and to eat, drink, and get drunk,

(46) then the master of that slave will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not foresee, and will (metaphorically) cut him in two (or flog near to death), and assign him a place with the unfaithful (unbelievers).

(47) That servant who knew his master's will but did not get ready or do what his master asked will receive a severe beating. (48) But the one who did not know his master's will and did things worthy of punishment will receive a light beating. From everyone who has been given much, much will be required, and from the one who has been entrusted with much, even more will be asked.

In Luke 12:45-48 Jesus lists three types of reprimands.  It is my opinion these punishments will occur at the 2nd resurrection during the White Throne Judgment, and it also could occur at the return of Jesus at the beginning of and during the Millennial kingdom.  Verse 45-46 is the most severe admonition of which the person will be severely punished.  This group may or will include the pedophiles, human traffickers, murderers, drug runners, and other reprehensible criminals.  Verse 46 is a lesser punishment possibly referring to an accomplice or co-conspirator.  The third degree of punishment given in verse 48 most likely refers to an everyday common sinner who did little damage to other individuals and possibly to people who have never heard the Word of God.

The laws of God as defined by Jesus, the Son of God (i.e. God in an earthly form) continue to be relevant and valid.  They were not put away by the cross.  They were merely placed within the heart (consciousness) of the believer rather than merely being a product written on paper.

A PERSONAL NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR
Almost two weeks ago I sat down with no specific intention of writing anything and wrote the first three paragraphs.  Two days later I left on a vacation for 8 days.  Upon returning I finished the article within a few hours other than a reread with edits.

Tonight I read the first paragraph again.  It is personally unexplainable why it was originally written although I believe it to be true both now and went it was written.  However the depth of this paragraph struck me as being completely beyond human comprehension although it thrilled me as being wonderful and marvelous.

The fact that one believes there is a God Creator requires total faith although the evidence and facts indicate that belief to be true.  In the article I wrote, “Many people visualize God as a bearded white haired man sitting in a throne in heaven”.  Some people have concocted areas or places where God may be located.

However, God is not located in some place because God is everything and everywhere.  Whatever the true God particle is – we are comprised of that particle as is everything that was created.  However, we are not God.  It could be compared to a birth.  The baby is not the mother or the father, but it contains a combination of both parent’s DNA.

Just think about it.  Everything we consider important; everything we buy; everything we love and cherish; everything we think we depend on is here because God deemed it to be that way.
