IS THE POPE CATHOLIC?

On
October 14, 2016, a few weeks before the US presidential election, the New
American wrote an article commenting on email correspondence released by
Wikileaks in which John Podesta, the Clinton political advisor and known
pedophile, advocated a “Catholic Spring.”
WikiLeaks revelations of anti-Christian bigotry have
Hillary Clinton and her campaign chairman, John Podesta, under fire. Bill
Donohue, president of the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights says “Podesta must now be fired.” “In light of
the latest Wikileaks revelations, she has no choice but to cut all ties with
this man. The man is hell bent on creating mutiny in the Catholic Church and
must therefore be fired,” Donohue charged Wednesday.
“We have long known that George Soros is the single
most influential donor to dissident, and anti-Catholic, organizations,” Donohue
charged. “Now we know from Wikileaks what I long have suspected: John Podesta
has been the most influential point man running offense for Soros. Together,
they have sought to manipulate public opinion against the Catholic Church.”
Podesta, a longtime Clinton adviser/confidante and
hand-picked top activist for left-wing funder George Soros, revealed in a
2011 e-mail that he and other activists were working to effect a “Catholic
Spring” revolution within the Catholic Church, an obvious reference to the
disastrous “Arab Spring” coups organized that same year by the
Obama-Clinton-Soros team that destabilized the Middle East and brought radical
Islamist regimes and terrorist groups to power in the region. The Podesta
e-mail is a response to another Soros-funded radical — Sandy Newman,
founder of the “progressive” Voices for Progress. Newman had written to
Podesta seeking advice on the best way to “plant the seeds of the revolution”
in the Catholic Church, which he described as a “middle ages [sic]
dictatorship.” The issue that appeared to be the cause of Newman’s e-mail was
opposition by U.S. Catholic Bishops to the federally mandated contraceptive
coverage in ObamaCare….
In his e-mail of February 10, 2011, Newman writes:
There needs to be a Catholic Spring, in which
Catholics themselves demand the end of a middle ages dictatorship and the
beginning of a little democracy and respect for gender equality in
the Catholic church. Is contraceptive coverage an issue around which that
could happen. The Bishops will undoubtedly continue the fight….
John Podesta responded the following day, writing:
We created Catholics in Alliance for the Common
Good to organize for a moment like this. But I think it lacks
the leadership to do so now. Likewise Catholics United. Like most
Spring movements, I think this one will have to be bottom up. I'll discuss
with Tara. Kathleen Kennedy Townsend is
the other person to consult.
Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good and
Catholics United are two of the many Soros-funded “Catholic” activist groups
that push the “progressive” agenda (abortion “rights,” homosexual “marriage,”
LBGT K through12 “education,” women priests, etc.) inside the church.
No
doubt there are many Catholics who are concerned over the recent attempt to
change the core beliefs and doctrines of the Church, especially those that run
contrary to the politically-charged issues like abortion and the definition of
marriage and the family. There is an obvious fight going on for the soul of the
Catholic Church itself.
Nancy
Pelosi, for example, recently claimed to be a “Catholic” in order to insist
that she did not “hate Trump” but was actually “praying” for him. Can she
really be “Catholic” when she pushes the non-Catholic Democrat platform? No
doubt her prayer is: Please, God, help us destroy Donald Trump!”
For
years I have watched this division grow within the Catholic Church. Once in a
while, a priest or bishop will deny communion to a liberal but Catholic
politician for his pro-abortion stance. But it seems that those priests are
being overwhelmed by the “progressive” priests who agree with George Soros and
John Podesta.
The
real question is: What will Catholics themselves do about this? It is their
problem, after all. If they do not fight back, the Church will soon lead them
into mainstream “progressive” theology, where God is pro-abortion, anti-family,
and pro-LGBT.
On
January 20, 2017 a group of Catholics wrote a letter specifically asking the
newly-inaugurated president, Donald Trump, to investigate Hillary Clinton’s
proposal for a Catholic “revolution,” designed to destroy the Catholic Church
in America. Shortly after Hillary’s proposal, Pope Benedict was forced to
resign (February 2013), and he was replaced by Pope Francis. It appears that
Francis is colluding with (or perhaps directing) the Vatican’s shift to
the left in collusion with Soros.
A Vatican-Democratic Party Alliance? (Catholics Ask
Trump Administration to Investigate)
…. Specifically, we have reason to believe that a
Vatican “regime change” was engineered by the Obama administration.
We were alarmed to discover that, during the third
year of the first term of the Obama administration your previous opponent, Secretary
of State Hillary Clinton, and other government officials with whom she
associated proposed a Catholic “revolution” in which the final demise of what
was left of the Catholic Church in America would be realized.[1]
Approximately a year after this e-mail discussion, which was never intended to
be made public, we find that Pope Benedict XVI abdicated under highly unusual
circumstances and was replaced by a pope whose apparent mission is to provide a
spiritual component to the radical ideological agenda of the international
left. [2] The Pontificate of Pope Francis has subsequently called into question
its own legitimacy on a multitude of occasions. [3]
During the 2016 presidential campaign we were
astonished to witness Pope Francis actively campaigning against your proposed
policies concerning the securing of our borders, and even going so far as to
suggest that you are not a Christian [4]. We appreciated your prompt and
pointed response to this disgraceful accusation [5].
We remain puzzled by the behavior of this
ideologically charged Pope, whose mission seems to be one of advancing secular
agendas of the left rather than guiding the Catholic Church in Her sacred
mission. It is simply not the proper role of a Pope to be involved in
politics to the point that he is considered to be the leader of the international
left.

It
appears that Pope Francis is the main instigator of the new apostasy known as
Christlam, the unification of Christianity with Islam (and eventually Judaism
as well). Exodus 23:32, 33 says,
32 You shall make no covenant with them or with their gods. 33
They shall not live in your land, lest they make you sin against Me; for if you
serve their gods, it will surely be a snare to you.”
On
February 4, 2019 Pope Francis signed a historic covenant with an Islamic
leader, Grand Shiekh Ahmed el-Tayeb under the guise of getting along together.
Almost
without notice from the global media, Pope Francis held a historic meeting last
week in the United Arab Emirates with Grand Sheikh Ahmed el-Tayeb, head of
Egypt’s al-Azhar University, the world’s most authoritative institution on
Islamic law.
El-Tayeb,
while touted as a “moderate” by some in the West, unapologetically teaches that
Muslims who leave Islam for other religions, or no religion at all, are guilty of apostasy and should be
killed.
So
what is the Pope of Rome, the supposed Vicar of Christ, doing cavorting with
such a man?
Meanwhile,
Christians continue to be killed and persecuted daily in Muslim countries. Does
the pope really believe that signing this peace pact will stop the persecution?
Does he think that Muslims will suddenly recognize Jesus as the Heir of
creation and One who is greater than Muhammed? Or is his agenda to merge the
two religions until Catholics become Muslim? This new policy is a classic
“snare” in God’s warning in Exodus 23:33.
The
pope is doing this under the assumption that Christianity, Judaism, and Islam
all worship the same God. Certainly, each claims to worship the true God, the
Creator of the universe. However, each one’s description of its God is
quite different. 1 John 2:22, 23 says,
22 This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son. 23
Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father; the one who confesses the Son
has the Father also.
Neither
Judaism nor Islam acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God—nor will they,
because this runs contrary to their core belief. If there is to be a true
merger in Christlam, it will be only because Christians set aside the
requirement to believe that Jesus is the Son of God, thereby also denying Peter’s
revelation in Matthew 16:16, “Thou art
the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
Recall
from Revelation 9 that God Himself empowered Islam to bring judgment upon the
Church for its refusal to repent. In 606 A.D., Pope Boniface III laid claim to
the exclusive right to the title, “Universal Bishop,” an act that his
predecessor, Pope Gregory had said was a “blasphemous antichristian
assumption.” Three years later (609), Mohammed got his “visions,” and he began
to preach Islam in 612.
Islam
to this day has a mandate to bring judgment upon the Church. It appears that
Pope Francis is the one called to bring Catholics into divine judgment, first
by uniting with Islam, and then by subjecting them to Islam.
On
Thanksgiving,
Ilhan Omar posted a video on Twitter with a video of her in the pulpit in a
Catholic church. In the video, Omar is reciting a Muslim prayer. The video was
recorded at an “interfaith service” at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in the
Washington D.C. area.
So
it is not just Rick Warren and Joel Osteen who are pushing Christlam. They
promote this new hybrid apostasy among evangelicals, but Pope Francis is
leading this apostasy in the Catholic Church, backed by “progressive” priests
who are intent on destroying the Catholic Church from within.
Is
the pope Catholic? What used to be a joke is now a serious question.
