Preparing For Babylon's Fall

PREPARING FOR BABYLON'S FALL

By Dr. Stephen Jones:  Oct 03, 2019

Blog Post Date:  10-3-2019

Back in 604 B.C., when God gave Jerusalem into the hands of Nebuchadnezzar, “My servant” (Jeremiah 27:6), the king took a few of the Judahite’s and trained them in the laws, customs, and language of Babylon, so that they could be liaisons between Judah and their new government. Daniel was one of that group (Daniel 1:5, 6).

From God’s perspective, these liaisons served to help the people fulfill the instructions of Jeremiah to the captives in Babylon. Jeremiah 29:4-7,

4 Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, to all the exiles whom I have sent into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon. 5 Build houses and live in them; and plant gardens and eat their produce. 6 Take wives and become the fathers of sons and daughters… and multiply there and do not decrease. 7 And seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile and pray to the Lord on its behalf; for in its welfare you will have welfare.

Note that God took the credit for exiling the people of Judah to Babylon. It was not the power of Babylon that accomplished this, regardless of what Nebuchadnezzar may have thought. There are men’s beliefs; and then there is God’s reality.

Secondly, the people of Judah were to pray that Babylon would prosper, because as it prospered, so also would those under its authority. History shows that they did indeed prosper—so much so that only a few of them were willing to return after 70 years to rebuild Jerusalem.

The Two Yokes of Captivity
If the people of Judah had understood the underlying reason for their captivity, they might have submitted to the captivity willingly. Jeremiah gave them the opportunity to submit to the wooden yoke (Jeremiah 27:2, 8). In other words, if they had submitted to divine judgment willingly, they could have remained in the land during their captivity, much as they had done under previous captivities.

However, they were blind, deaf, and too rebellious (in the guise of patriotism) to submit without a fight. So God put upon them a yoke of iron (Deuteronomy 28:48; Jeremiah 28:13). This meant that they would be exiled and would serve out their sentence in a foreign land for 70 years.

Meanwhile, Daniel was given revelation that this was more than a mere 70-year captivity. Jerusalem was to remain in captivity to four beast empires—not just one. The first 70 years was under an iron yoke, and then the second empire (Persia) allowed them to return to a wooden yoke, so that they could rebuild the old land and live there under their captivity.

This wooden yoke continued until they refused to submit to the fourth beast empire—Rome. As a result, they again went into an iron yoke captivity. Jerusalem was destroyed in 70 A.D., and in a second revolt in 132-135 A.D., the people were forbidden to set foot in Jerusalem and were dispersed into foreign lands once again. This iron yoke lasted until 1948.

Meanwhile, the Israelites had been dispersed under an iron yoke as well. God had sent them to Assyria (745-721 B.C.), not allowing them to spend any time under a wooden yoke for the next 2,520 years (“seven times,” Leviticus 26:18). Their iron-yoke captivity then ended with the founding of America in 1776 and the construction of the nation’s capital in 1800.

What I did not fully know previously was that America did not gain full independence in its Revolutionary War. It remained secretly under a less oppressive authority of the British Crown, which prophetically would be called a wooden yoke. (I had heard about this in recent years but had not seen concrete evidence until this past weekend.) This is the “special relationship” between the USA and the UK that our presidents often refer to in their speeches. We certainly have more freedom than we did prior to 1776, but we were never fully free.

The Captivity to Mystery Babylon
America set up a Constitution and a Bill of Rights that was unprecedented in the history of the world. The only Constitution in history that was better was the book of Deuteronomy, which was Israel’s constitution when they entered the Promised Land. This book was set forth in a series of seven speeches that Moses gave in the plains of Moab just before he died.

The liberties set forth in the American Constitution were very good, but unfortunately, they were not allowed to apply to all men. Many wanted to retain slaves. Many did not respect the rights of Native Americans. Their treaties were between “men,” but legally speaking, other races did not fall under that category, and hence, in their eyes, the treaties could be broken when convenient.

Of course, not everyone approved of violating treaties, but the government itself determined the country’s course of action. God brought judgment upon America after just 70 years, dating from the passage of the Constitution (1789) and the Bill of Rights (1791). The “Civil War” began the real downward spiral toward the captivity of Mystery Babylon. This took another 70 years to 1929-1931, when the bankers brought about the great market crash in 1929 in order to create the “need” for the Emergency Act of 1933, which fully put America into bondage.

The Federal Reserve Act of 1913 put America into financial bondage by giving the right to create money into the hands of a private banking consortium owned by the wealthy European banking families who already controlled Europe, primarily from the City of London. It took only 20 years to bankrupt the USA, and the Emergency Act of 1933 essentially allowed the banks to foreclose on the nation, its territory, all property, and all the people.

That is where we became fully enslaved, but the entire process took precisely 144 years from 1789-1933.

Nonetheless, our captivity is a wooden yoke, because God did not send us into exile. In fact, there is no place on earth to go into exile. President Woodrow Wilson signed the Federal Reserve Act in 1913 as soon as it was passed, signifying a wooden yoke. But this captivity was also hidden from the eyes of the vast majority of people. Hence, it is a “Mystery” (that is, a secret government). Today, many refer to it as the Deep State.

God knew that most of Americans would not understand why God would allow us to go into captivity. As with both Israel and Judah in ancient times, most people could see things only on a superficial level and would want to fight patriotically to retain the freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. For this reason God blinded us, in order to prevent us from trying to revolt.

While I understand this desire for freedom, I also know that because we are “under God,” we cannot misuse our freedom by enslaving others or by denying others their rights under God. Because we did so, God has judged us by the principle of “eye for eye, tooth for tooth” (Exodus 21:24). The judgment must fit the crime.

The End of the Captivity
The final 70-year phase of captivity, which began in 1929-1933, came to a climax in 1999-2003. Recall that on the night of September 10/11, 1999 (Rosh Hoshana), we held a 2000th birthday celebration for Jesus at Port Austin, Michigan. Two years later, on September 11, 2001, the Twin Towers were demolished by explosives (using planes as an excuse) in order to delay the fall of Babylon. That story is too long to recount here, but it was the excuse to pass the pre-written “Patriot Act” that put the people further into bondage in the name of “security.”

At that time, some high-ranking people led by Military Intelligence saw that a coup had taken place behind the scenes. They began to plan to reverse course and to restore America. I do not know how well they understood their actions from the perspective prophecy, but regardless, they fell into the divine plan.

In 2003, seventy years after 1933, America overthrew Iraq, which is the territory of old Babylon. Though I did not support the war, I saw that Mystery Babylon had inadvertently overthrown itself, because it was a sign of the overthrow of Babylon after 70 years.

The year 2006 was the 2,520th anniversary of the building of the Second Temple in the days of Haggai (515 B.C. to 2006 A.D.). I knew that we would shortly see a financial collapse beginning in 2007. That was when the subprime mortgage crisis began, which led to the contrived bank crisis in September 2008 and to the election of President Obama two months later.

Meanwhile, some in Military Intelligence had been working on a plan to reverse the coup since 2001 and were ready to move in 2009. They introduced Bitcoin as an alternative monetary system using digital currency that was independent of the Federal Reserve System and which carried no interest and was not a debt note.

They then began to implement a plan to train a few people on how to get free of the captivity to Mystery Babylon. However, President Obama was able to stop the program, and it fell apart for as long as Obama was president. So these “white hats” in Military Intelligence asked Donald Trump to run for office to implement their “freedom” plan. After he won, the plan went back on track, and (by invitation only) a few were shown the path to freedom from Babylon.

I see this program as a reverse of Nebuchadnezzar’s program in the first chapter of Daniel. Back then, a few were trained to be liaisons between Babylon and Judah in order to make the transition smooth into captivity. Today, a few are being trained to make the transition out of captivity. It all comes under the general heading of Make America Great Again, although that slogan hardly does justice to it. Neither does it reveal the core issues. We are only told in public speeches that power is being returned to the people.

I now have a better understanding of what this means, as I have had a glimpse into the practical core of this plan. What should have taken place in 2009 was delayed ten years (the Hezekiah Factor) to 2019. While I cannot reveal any details, I can encourage you to know that prophecy is being fulfilled. Our timing is correct, and the Hezekiah Factor is a built-in biblical delay to the appointed time. In the short-term, the ten-year Hezekiah Factor has applied, but in the longer-term cycles of 3 x 70 years, a DOUBLE Hezekiah Factor has been applicable (1999-2019).

1789/91 to 1859/61
1859/61 to 1929/31
1929/31 to 1999/2001

I expect that we will have 20/20 vision next year. Perhaps this current cycle will come to a climax in 2021 or even 2023, which is 70 years (plus the double Hezekiah Factor) after 1933.

I think we can reasonably expect to see another contrived market crash soon. The Deep State will try to use it to unseat Donald Trump by blaming his trade policies. But Trump has already been a vocal critic of the FED, so that when the crash comes, he can say, “See, they should have done what I told them to do.” He will then put the Fed under the authority of the Treasury Department, making it truly a “Federal” reserve. Up to now, it has been “independent.”

This may happen as early as this month (October). I cannot say for sure, but watch the feast days, especially Tabernacles (October 14-21). Those implementing this plan are very much aware of the feast days and believe that this are the appointed times.

I have shown in my commentary on The Revelation that the seven bowls of wine poured out in Revelation 16 are designed to overthrow Babylon at the feast of Tabernacles. This is done for our benefit. The fall of Babylon may be disruptive, but it is not directed against God’s people but against Babylon for refusing to let us go at the appointed time (Jeremiah 50:33, 34).

Hence, we ought not to fear the future, as most Christians do who think that Babylon has yet to arise. Most Christians think that the book of Revelation is yet future, when in fact, we are at the end of this captivity. Antichrist has already risen and is about to be overthrown. We served our sentence, and the time has come for deliverance. Those who know the Scriptures have hope, whereas many Christians walk in fear. Those who walk in fear have placed their hope in a rapture to escape; we, however, are making preparations to remain here and to build the Kingdom when our captivity is complete.
