THE MANNER OF BABYLON'S FALL

Last September President Trump stated that he was declassifying the documents showing that the Department of Justice and the FBI had colluded with the Clinton campaign against him illegally. Then it was decided to wait until after the November election and to release these documents at the most opportune time—after the Mueller report was released.

The idea was to give the Deep State its first opportunity to prove its case against Trump, and then Trump would have his opportunity to prove that the Obama administration and the Clinton campaign had committed crimes of their own.

We now appear to be close to the showdown. Mueller is expected to submit his report shortly. The Democrats are already aware that the report will be a big letdown, so they are already positioning themselves to claim that Attorney General William Barr is suppressing the proof. That will be their defense, but at the same time the release of the report will signal the start of Trump’s counter-offensive. The release of the previously classified documents will reveal what has really transpired.

Take note that it is a violation of the law to classify documents just because they are embarrassing to the agency or to individuals within the agency. Yet this has been done quite regularly over the years. The problem has been that there was no independent overseer to determine whether the classification process has been violated or not.

Mystery Babylon thrives on secrecy. When it is exposed, it loses power and collapses, because then it is no longer a “mystery,” or secret. By using the term “Mystery,” the book of Revelation implies that this final captivity is to a secret government. That alone showed me years ago that such a government actually did exist, and it motivated me to study it further. Only by exposing it to the light of day could it be overthrown by truth.

Now that the time of the beasts has been completed (as of October 12, 2017), we ought to expect to see events moving toward the exposure and collapse of that secret government. So that is how I view events in the world today. My assumption is that Bible prophecy is true and that I am understanding it more or less correctly—especially the timing.

As any student of political science knows, in order to maintain power, one must either control the army (as in past centuries) or the media (more recent). The Deep State has always relied on both, of course, but their main strategy has been to hide the fact that the people are in a captivity. If slaves do not know that they are slaves, how can there be a slave revolt? Hence, they have used psychology against us in the past century.

But all of this has been part of the divine plan as well, because God intended for us to come under the wooden yoke. Because of the sins of the Church, God put us into this captivity during the Laodicean Age (beginning in 1914). The Laodicean Church is the Church of the Captivity, running parallel to the Hezekiah Church in the Old Testament. When Pentecost in the early 1900’s failed to address the causes of this captivity, the only relevant question was whether we would come under a wooden yoke or an iron yoke (Deuteronomy 28:48).

In the days of Jeremiah, when the fate of Jerusalem was being decided, the prophet was told to give the people a choice of yoke. In Jeremiah 27:2 he was told to put a yoke on his neck and tell the people to submit to the captivity that God had decreed. In Jeremiah 28:10, 11 the prophet Hananiah broke that yoke and prophesied that there would be no captivity.

That act of rebellion proved to reflect the collective heart of the people, and so it was recorded in the divine court as their response to God’s judgment. Hence, Judah received an iron yoke (Jeremiah 28:13), which meant that they were going to serve their 70-year sentence in exile.

The main problem was that the people of Jerusalem saw the Babylonian army coming, and they decided to fight rather than to submit. After all, that was the “patriotic” thing to do. They did not understand the law of God, nor did they believe Jeremiah’s report about what God had decreed in the divine court.

God knew that we too were a rebellious people who had little or no understanding of God’s law. If God had not blinded us, we too would have disputed God’s judgment. We too would have broken the wooden yoke, only to receive an iron yoke in its place. So God blinded the eyes of most of the people to cause us to submit to the wooden yoke. Hence, the Federal Reserve Act was signed by President WOODROW Wilson on December 23, 1913, and the system was set up in 1914.

His name was not Iron-row but Wood-row. We served our sentence within our own borders without having to go into exile under the iron yoke. That captivity has now come to an end insofar as God’s sentence is concerned. Legally speaking, it ended over a three-year period from 2014-2017, as I reported during those years.

So why are we still in captivity? Why has Babylon not collapsed? The pattern of Mystery Babylon was set long ago in the story of Babylon itself. Jeremiah did not live to see the fall of Babylon, but he prophesied of its fall in Jeremiah 50 and 51. In that prophecy, he wrote in Jeremiah 50:33, “all who took them captive have held them fast, they have refused to let them go.”

God’s plan was to obtain legal cause against Babylon, so he used their greed against them. God had given Babylon just 70 years, but the Babylonians never intended to release their captives at the appointed time. If they had done so, Babylon could have continued as an empire. But God obtained legal cause against them for refusing to let the people go free at the end of their sentence. Hence, God raised up the Medes and Persians to overthrow Babylon and to set the people free (Jeremiah 51:11).

The prophet also prophesied of all those who have engaged in spiritual warfare against Babylon. Jeremiah 51:20 says,

²⁰ He says, “You are My war-club, My weapon of war, and with you I shatter nations, and with you I destroy kingdoms.”

No doubt there were spiritual warriors that God raised up to overthrow ancient Babylon. I doubt that Daniel was the only one who remembered Jeremiah’s prophecies about the 70-year captivity (Daniel 9:2). I believe that Daniel was in constant contact with the leaders of Judah and that they discussed Jeremiah’s prophecies. After all, Jeremiah had given them hope that their captivity would not be endless. As the end of 70 years drew near, they surely must have discussed it and prayed about it.

We are in a similar situation today, except that our captivity was to last 100 years (1914/1917 to 2014/2017). Once again, Mystery Babylon refused to let the people go on their deadline of October 12, 2017. Thus, they came under Cursed Time, and 414 days later their grace period ended on November 30, 2018. Bush 41 died that day as the representative of Mystery Babylon.

That marked the point where Mystery Babylon’s judgment became set in stone. I do not think that Mystery Babylon has been given a second 414-day cycle, because the death of Bush would then have been postponed until the end of that second cycle.

A 414-day cycle also can imply another 76-day cycle added to it in order to come to the full cycle of 490 days. Recall that 490 is a full “forgiveness cycle,” as seen in Matthew 18:21, 22. When the obligation to forgive runs out after 490 times, then comes the great reckoning, as seen in the next verses, Matthew 18:23-35.

In the case of Mystery Babylon, the 76 days ended on February 14, 2019, when William Barr was sworn in as the new US Attorney General. This suggests that he will be the primary agent of divine justice upon Mystery Babylon. Perhaps this is also suggested in Jeremiah 51:29, 30,

²⁹ So the land quakes and writhes, for the purposes of the Lord against Babylon stand to make the land of Babylon a desolation without inhabitants. ³⁰ The mighty men of Babylon have ceased fighting, they stay in their strongholds; their strength is exhausted, they are becoming like women; their dwelling places are set on fire, the BARS of her gates are broken.

So it appears that William Barr’s confirmation and installation as Attorney General is a key to the fall of Mystery Babylon. We have now reached the point where judgment is about to fall upon Mystery Babylon. The strategy appears to be tied in with the declassified documents, but we can only guess what may transpire in the months to come.
