MONEY AS IDOLATRY

And Additional Comments on the Mark of the Beast

The apostle Paul exclaimed that the love of money is the root of all evils.

1 Timothy 6:10 NET For the love of money is the root of all evils. Some people in reaching for it have strayed from the faith and stabbed themselves with many pains.

He did not say money is the root of all evils but that the “love of money” is the root of all evils.  A certain amount of money is necessary to live in this world.  Even the disciples carried around a small box of money for their immediate needs.  It is the greed and the desire of receiving of vast amounts of money.  In other words collecting money or wealth is viewed as one’s purpose in life and most other things, including the recognition and worship of God the Creator is put aside.  Mammon or wealth becomes idolatrous as in the worship of an idol.

Paul gives a list of common idolatries in the last days and “lovers of money” is the second item on the list.  Paul’s list of idolatries seems to describe most of Congress, government, corporations, and the far left ANTIFA types.  (Just my personal opinion.)

2 Timothy 3:1-5 NET But understand this, that in the last days difficult times will come. (2) For people will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, (3) unloving, irreconcilable, slanderers, without self-control, savage, opposed to what is good, (4) treacherous, reckless, conceited, loving pleasure rather than loving God. (5) They will maintain the outward appearance of religion but will have repudiated its power. So avoid people like these.

Jesus described this “money as one’s idol” situation clearly in Matthew 6:24.  A person cannot serve two masters.  If money is your master than God is set aside.  If collecting and receiving money is your primary concern then the Kingdom of God is despised.

Matthew 6:24 KJV  No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon (money or wealth).

When we think of money, we usually think of the coupon form, the official looking paper slips of various denominations. This is deceiving. Money is really an abstraction denoting material value.

There are hundreds of millions of transactions every day. Do you really think paper slips get moved from bank to bank? No, all that changes is a number in your account. Yes, a tiny fraction of paper slips change hands when we use cash but this is negligible.

It starts off as "credit" which the Rothschild’s bestow on your country when banks provide a loan. Then it can take any form.  Money should be thought of as a kind of electricity, the lifeblood of the economy.

Banks are local franchises of the Rothschild world banking cartel.  They keep the accounts. They decide who gets to tap into this electrical grid. One day when cash is abolished, they will ban dissenters.

"Money" comes into the world as debt, usually the national debt which is backed by the credit of the state. The collateral for this debt is its citizens. 

In the future, the Rothschilds could demand repayment of this "debt", an abstraction they created out of nothing. As their debt slaves, one day this may be a pretext for our enslavement. 

Imagine it (the money machine) is run by Satanists (cabalists) who hate humanity and wish to enslave it. I'm not just speaking of physical enslavement.  Money is used to enslave us spiritually as well. 

Most of our waking thoughts are devoted to money. Millions are wrapped up in the stock market and watch their net worth fluctuate from hour to hour.  Most people spend their day trying to make money or fretting about whether they have enough money for their old age. 

Basically, the man behind the curtain has already enslaved us spiritually by making us obsess on money and the things it can buy.  We associate money with liberation. But many super-rich people are not happy. Kate Spade, who committed suicide yesterday, is said to be "worth" over $200 million. If anything, money is a spiritual foretaste of our physical enslavement. 

Money and sex are the North-South of our mental compass. By no coincidence, the people who make us obsess on money, are also behind sexual liberation and pornography. Both occupy our thoughts. Both take us away from God. Both dehumanize and degrade us.

The Mark of the Beast

Several previous posts of mine concerning the mark of the beast have been posted and I must admit that I previously had a misunderstanding (i.e. I was wrong) of last-days scripture.  Most of those posts have been corrected or deleted but some instances concerning the subject matter in a mistaken way may have slipped through the cracks.

Most of my previous mistakes dwelt with the influence of following misguided dispensational thinking.  That “thinking” has now been rectified with the assistance of Dr. Stephen Jones’ prophetic teachings particularly the teaching of the Revelation as a prophetic history of the Church from the time of John until the present.

Mr. Jones is not my mentor or guru as some have suggested, just in case anyone may question my reasoning basis.  As a summation of my personal testimony, my late 20’s were consumed with dispensational, pre-tribulation rapture, with seven years of tribulation, and with the Revelation as a roadmap or guideline.  As a possible excuse, those types of prophetic books were the only ones available at the time.  The pre-tribulation rapture was the first item on the list to be personally dismissed but the rest continued to be a brain fog.

The next thing to strike me as significant was the early writings of Peter Goodgame and his idea that a resurrected Nimrod would be the “antichrist” of Mystery Babylon.  That concept was soon dismissed by me and later by Mr. Goodgame as well.

The next phase was the writings of Chris White and they actually began to make sense as to explaining and interpreting the recently-traditional dispensation, tribulation, Revelation roadmap scheme of the end-times events.  Mr. White’s ideas were soon discarded and he stopped writing after the first part of his planned Revelation commentary.  Perhaps he discarded the ideas as well.

For some unexplainable reason, during my research I came upon a link to an online booklet written by Dr. Stephen Jones which began my research and reading of his teachings.  Some may call it a coincidence, but I consider it the Hand of God leading me to the correct position of prophecy and the Revelation.  Why would I say that?  Since 1978 I began praying to God to allow me to understand the Revelation as it should be understood.  Much time pasted without any results until finally I believe that I was given an answer to my prayer.  The initial readings of Mr. Jones Revelation commentary was placed to one side due to my disbelief with a temporary dismissal of his writings.  Many of his other writings were read and approved by me, but the Revelation as a prophetic history of the Church just didn’t seem correct.

However, the more I read his commentaries and the more I contemplated his thoughts and historical concepts, the more I came to believe that it was the only understanding that made any sense at all throughout all the last day’s prophetic interpretations and understandings.  Dr. Jones meets and interacts with a somewhat small group of people with like-minded beliefs, and he appears to be the appointed teacher and historian for the group.  The only other member of the group, that I know about, with a blog is Dr. James Bruggeman.

Background of the Mark

Regardless of the outlandish science fiction misunderstandings of the “Beast from the Sea” (the first mentioned beast in the Revelation) it must be realized that this beast is the “little horn” of Daniel 7 which became the successor or “little horn” extension to the defunct Roman Empire and quickly morphed into the Holy Roman Empire.  The earlier military Roman Empire had been divided into ten areas or divisions of which the borrowed-army of the Vatican gang overcame three of them and thus, the Vatican declared themselves an empire or the Holy Roman Empire. 

Daniel 7:7-8 KJV  …. behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: (the Roman Empire) ….. and it had ten horns (divisions or provinces).  (8)  ….. there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots (three of the ten divisions conquered by the Vatican army): and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things (a man is the head of the “little horn” or Holy Roman Empire).

It can also be understood that the Holy Roman Empire was the initial phase of the new Mystery, Babylon with the fiat money banking system of the earth (or 2^nd) beast becoming the second phase of Mystery, Babylon.

Later in history, Napoleon defeated the Holy Roman empire, captured the existing Pope and carried him to France where he was imprisoned and supposedly died.  At a later date, Napoleon thought he needed a Pope to crown him the King of his new conquered empire so he allowed the Vatican to create a new Pope for that purpose.  Thus the Pope died (who had been wounded by the sword) but was brought back to life in a manner (but still lived).  Revelation 13:14  …..who had been wounded by the sword, but still lived.

After the death of Napoleon, the powers of Europe placed the Vatican/Pope under a bank directed trusteeship.  This banking system later came to be owned and operated by the Rothschild family.  Thus the 2^nd beast or the beast from the earth is the banking system or possibly the Rothschild family.

The Beast System Simplified

According to the historical Revelation timeline, the world is now seeing the destruction of Mystery, Babylon of which the Rothschild International banking system which includes the Federal Reserve is a big part, but not the only part.

The beast system contains the four beasts of Daniel 2:31-45 and reiterated in Daniel 7:3-8 with the introduction of the 5^th beast called the “little horn”.  Some claim the Roman Empire was in two parts as the two legs of the statue in Daniel 2 and should be considered as two different beasts.  The little horn or the beast from the sea in Revelation 13 is soon controlled by the earth beast, later called the false prophet in Revelation 17.  This earth beast could be the 6^th or 7^th beast depending on one’s counting method.  The sea beast could be the beginning of Mystery, Babylon, but if not, the earth beast is definitely part of the last beast (again depending on one’s counting method) which is Mystery, Babylon.

Now On With the MARK

A few things that can safely be said about the Mark is:  it is not a brand or a tattoo.  It has something to do with money and global banking.  It is obviously in use or being employed today in some manner and has been in use for some time.

***Mark

The mark and the image are metaphoric names for money.  The Greek word translated “mark” has several dictionary meanings including: sign, etching, and stamp, but it can also indicate a sign of servitude as given to a slave.  A mark is also a unit of German currency but doesn’t appear to have any relationship to this scripture.  Thus the “mark of the beast” would be an idolatrous slave to money and systems of obtaining money.

***Image

An image is a representation or a likeness.  All money contains an image of someone.  There even exits Vatican currency with the image of a pope, but again, this doesn’t appear to have any relationship to this scripture.

Mark 12:16 NET So they brought one, and He said to them, "Whose image is this, and whose inscription?" They replied, "Caesar's."

***Right Hand or Forehead

Revelation 13:16 states:  …..to obtain (or receive) a mark on their right hand or on their forehead.  It has already been determined this is not a brand or a tattoo, and it is definitely not a DNA transfer as implied by Tom Horn of Sky Watch TV.  Sorry literalists, but this verse is a symbolic or figurative representation of phylacteries worn by Jews of Jesus’ day and in modern times by Hassidic Jews.

These phylacteries contain parchments with handwritten prayers from certain books of the Old Testament.  They are worn on the hand and on the forehead between the eyes.  It should be noted that Deut. 6:6 claims that the commandments of God “shall be in thine heart”, and only figuratively worn on the hand and forehead although the Hassidic Jews follow this verse literally.

Deuteronomy 6:6-8 KJV  And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:  (7)  And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.  (8)  And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.

The point being made is that people who worship money will symbolically bind them to their wrist and forehead in the figurative manner that a Jew binds a phylactery.  It will become a part of their worship.  Also note the use of the word “mark” which is metaphorically money.

Revelation 14:9 presents a two points that should be considered because the penalty is to drink the wine of God’s anger:  1) anyone who worships the beast and his image.

Revelation 14:9-10 NET A third angel followed the first two, declaring in a loud voice: "If anyone worships the beast and his image, and takes the mark on his forehead or his hand, (10) that person will also drink of the wine of God's anger that has been mixed undiluted in the cup of his wrath, and he will be tortured with fire and sulfur in front of the holy angels and in front of the Lamb.

The beast began as the Vatican/Papacy/Roman Catholic Church or the Holy Roman Empire as well as the first phase of Mystery, Babylon.  I’m not certain if this has anything to do with worshipping the Pope, or the Catholic Church.  And I’m also not certain if worshipping the image has anything to do with the Catholic infatuation with the Virgin Mary shrines or some Church anointed saint.  It most likely involves the idolatrous worship of the Mystery, Babylon system and the collection of wealth i.e. money rather than the worship of God the creator.

Revelation 14:11 NET And the smoke from their torture will go up forever and ever, and those who worship the beast and his image will have no rest day or night, along with anyone who receives the mark of his name."

Revelation 16:2 NET So the first angel went and poured out his bowl on the earth. Then ugly and painful sores appeared on the people who had the mark of the beast and who worshiped his image.

Revelation 19:20 NET Now the beast was seized, and along with him the false prophet who had performed the signs on his behalf -- signs by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. Both of them were thrown alive into the lake of fire burning with sulfur.
