The True Origins of Professing Jews

THE TRUE ORIGINS OF PROFESSING JEWS

The word “Jew” is a shortened form of Judean or Judahite.  The term can be found in the KJV of the Bible in 2 Kings 16:6.  This passage clearly demonstrates that Israel and Judah are not the same nation.  After the death of King Solomon, ten of the tribes, excluding the tribes of Judah and Benjamin, revolted against the new king and his excessive tax plan and launched a separate northern nation which they called Israel.  The name Israel, for their new nation, was legitimate because they contained the tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh which were the sons of Jacob who was renamed Israel by God.  The southern nation did not have the legitimacy of the name “Israel” and called themselves Judah. 

The northern nation of the ten tribes called Israel were conquered and deported by Assyria between 745 and 721 BC.  The majority were taken to northeastern Assyria and they never returned.  Whenever the prophets write concerning the House of Israel and their ultimate restoration they were speaking of the ten tribes of northern Israel and not the nation of Judah.  This will include the major prophets, Ezekiel and Jeremiah as well as others. 

It is important that Bible readers and students make this distinction.  Many of today’s Christians and others have been told that Jews are Israel but this is totally untrue.  The prophecies speaking of the restoration of “Israel” are not being fulfilled by the people calling themselves Jews in the modern state of Israel.  Actually, the current nation of Israel has no legitimate right to call themselves Israel.

Although Judah was a son a Jacob and a tribe of the united Israel under the reigns of Saul, David, and Solomon, it because a national name when the united kingdom divided into two nations.  This division broadened the term “Judah” and the prophets used the broadened name accordingly.

The House of Judah or national Judah was conquered by Babylon between the years of 604 through 586 BC.  Many were killed and some were deported to Babylon.  Due to the destruction of the nation of Judah it could no longer be specifically used as a national name or term.  In the book of Esther we find the term “Jew” employed rather than Judah or Judahite. 

Esther 8:17 KJV  And in every province, and in every city, whithersoever the king's commandment and his decree came, the Jews had joy and gladness, a feast and a good day. And many of the people of the land became Jews; for the fear of the Jews fell upon them.

Persian Jews

Also notice in the last sentence that “many of the people of the land became Jews”.  Through fear of possibly being hung, many of the Persians became Jews in a religious sense, not in a genealogical manner.  This accounts for the so-called Persian Jews that invaded the land of Canaan as prophesied in Ezekiel 38-39.

These Persians or Persian subjects were not former citizens of the nation of Judah, but rather were converts who had never lived in the land of Canaan.  At the return of a portion of the Jews back to the land of Canaan after the 70 years of punishment had been fulfilled, it is certain the Persian Jews did not accompany them.

Edomite Jews

The First Book of Maccabees appears to regard the Maccabean revolt as a rising of pious Jews against the Seleucid king who had tried to eradicate their religion and against the Jews who supported him. The Second Book of Maccabees presented the conflict as a struggle between "Judaism" and "Hellenism".  Most modern scholars argue that the king was reacting to a civil war between traditionalist Jews in the countryside and Hellenized Jews in Jerusalem, though the king's response of persecuting the religious traditionalists was unusual, and was the immediate cause for the revolt.  

Some modern scholarship considers the Maccabean revolt less as an uprising against foreign oppression than as a civil war between the orthodox and reformist parties in the Jewish population and by the persecution of people who observed the Torah by having their children circumcised and refusing to eat pork.

Whatever the actual reason, the Maccabeans conquered their neighbors and forced them to either convert to Judaism or to be exiled.  Most of the conquered people chose conversion, particularly the Edomites, and all became Jews, with no distinction between them.  Remember that Esau, the founder of the Edomites, was a brother of Jacob thus they were all related to some degree.

The Jewish historian, Josephus, recorded this event in his Antiquities of the Jews.  He was a descendant of the Maccabees and initially fought against the Romans during the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD. 

“Hyrcanus took also Dora and Marissa, cities of Idumea, and subdued all the Idumeans; and permitted them to stay in that country, if they would be circumcised, and make use of the laws of the Jews; and they were so desirous of living in the country of their forefathers, that they submitted to the use of circumcision and the rest of the Jews’ ways of living; at which time therefore, this befell them, that they were hereafter no other than Jews.”

This proclamation of Josephus is corroborated by the 1903 Jewish Encyclopedia.

“Judas Maccabeus conquered their territory for a time (B.C. 163; Ant. Xii, 8 par. 1, 2). They were again subdued by John Hyrcanus (c. 125 B.C.) by whom they were forced to observe Jewish rites and laws (ib. 9, par. 1; xiv. 4, par. 4). They were then incorporated with the Jewish nation, and their country was called by the Greeks and Romans ‘Idumea’.

“From this time the Idumeans ceased to be a separate people, though the name ‘Idumea’ still existed (in) the time of Jerome.”

The New Standard Jewish Encyclopedia states:

“The Edomites were conquered by John Hyrcanus who forcibly converted them to Judaism, and from then on they constituted a part of the Jewish people, Herod being one of their descendants.”

The above three references all agree that Edom (the Edomites) were absorbed and integrated into the Jewish or Judahite people group.

It has been said the Edomite Jews were the most violent and radical people of Judea and prior to the destruction of Jerusalem by Rome most of the Zealot group were of Edomite origin.  The actions of the Zealots supposedly precipitated the Romans to destroy Jerusalem.

In later years, the Jews began to call Rome and Christian Europe by the name of “Edom”. They obviously did not use the term literally, but symbolically for an oppressive government.  Even so, they seem to have done this in order to explain the many prophecies in the Old Testament about Edom in the latter days.

The prophets considered Edom as being a latter-day enemy. Since the rabbis could not submit to the idea that their own nation might one day have to fulfill those prophecies, they spiritualized them and applied them to other people they considered “enemies”.  Of course, it has been verified by many (including me) that many of the modern Jews are in reality, Edomites or partial Edomites.

Esau and Isaac believed that Esau was entitled to the birthright and scepter kingship promises.  Esau sold the scepter promise for a bowl of soup.  Jacob received the birthright promise by tricking Isaac into thinking he was Esau.  God desired that Jacob receive the birthright but Rebekah and Jacob did not have the faith to allow God to do His miracle work.  As a result, Esau begged for a blessing from Isaac.  Jacob gave him a blessing but it was a prophecy from God.

Genesis 27:39-40 KJV  And Isaac his father answered and said unto him, Behold, thy dwelling shall be the fatness of the earth, and of the dew of heaven from above;  (40)  And by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck.

It appears that God has given the birthright back to the ancestors of Esau for a short time prior to the return of Jesus to fulfill His prophecy.  The bad figs of Jeremiah 24 as applied to the Judeans not accepting Jesus as their Messiah were disinherited from the birthright and Judah-ship promises of God.  Their only recourse is to accept Jesus Christ as the Messiah and King of the Kingdom of God.

The Khazarian Jews

During the Middle Ages, a kingdom known as Khazaria existed in southern Russia around the Caspian Sea area.  The faux-Jew Khazar kingdom was conquered by the Rus and many or most of the Khazarian people were scattered.  Most of the Khazars were incorporated into the Russian area and later migrated into Eastern Europe, integrated with other Jewish people (possibly Sephardim) and became known as Ashkenazi.

The Jewish Encyclopedia:  “A people of Turkish origin whose life and history are interwoven with the very beginnings of the history of the Jews of Russia. The kingdom of the Chazars was firmly established in most of South Russia long before the foundation of the Russian monarchy by the Varangians (855). Jews have lived on the shores of the Black and Caspian seas since the first centuries of the common era. Historical evidence points to the region of the Ural as the home of the Chazars. Among the classical writers of the Middle Ages they were known as the ‘Chozars,’ ‘Khazirs,’ ‘Akatzirs,’ and ‘Akatirs,’ and in the Russian chronicles as ‘Khwalisses’ and ‘Ugry Byelyye’.”

Togarmah is a group of imposter-Jew Khazarians who integrated into parts of Russia, such as Moscow and Tubolsk, and eastern European countries.  The seventh son of Togarmah was Khazar, from which the nation of converted-Jews acquired their name.  Togarmah and Ashkenaz were brothers according to Genesis 10.  The Khazar Jewish line became known as the Ashkenazi.

JERUSALEM (Christian Examiner) – Israel is preparing to destroy the Al-Aqsa mosque – the third holiest site in Islam – in order to rebuild the Temple, the head of the Palestinian News Agency has alleged in a Nazi-style commentary on the Maan Network.

During the commentary on how the Jews will only enjoy security under Arab rule, Editor-in-Chief Nasser Al-Laham said the Jews prophetic expectations of salvation are to blame for recent tensions over the site. The allegation is not new on the Palestinian street, but it is less commonly voiced publicly among social and political leaders.

Al-Laham, however, said, "Now, they want to destroy the Al-Aqsa Mosque in order to build a false temple, so they prepared nine red cows, four calves, a rabbi, a Maimonides, stolen gold and a scabies stricken goat, and said that they were looking for the Messiah's donkey. The have turned the stables of our horses into a (wailing) wall for their tears”.

Editor’s Note:  It will definitely be a false temple.  Even if they were actual blood Jews rather than Khazarian Ashkenazi imposters calling themselves Jews, it would be a false temple.  Scripture appears to indicate there will be an end-times temple.  Of course, the Spirit of God will not be present – It was not present at Herod’s temple.  The temple of the Holy Spirit is within the presence (heart) of every believer and follower of Jesus Christ.  The actual existence of a third stone temple has been heavily debated among Bible teachers and others.  Time will tell and answer the question.

According to Muslim lore, Muhammad flew to Jerusalem in the middle of the night on a winged horse – called Buraq – described as smaller than a mule but bigger than a donkey. Muslims believe he tied up his horse at the Western Wall (Wailing Wall), making the site where Jews pray also sacred to Muslims. The area was allegedly used as a stable by Muslims after they conquered Jerusalem.

The mosque, on the supposed temple site, wasn't constructed until after Muhammad's death in A.D. 632 by Umar, the first caliph to succeed him.

Al-Laham said the Jews, however, see the Temple Mount as holy in their faith. They are still looking for a permanent home, he said.

"[They are – the Khazarians] another wandering generation of Jews seeking an identity, seeking a savior and searching in our homes and under our feet for the remains of the shattered Menorah," Al-Laham said. "They have always had and always will have this security only under the protection of an Arab state. They tried and will try to establish a state for the Jews, and to hide behind the Wall, but in the words of the poet, 'life of eternity is unfeasible.'"

Editor’s Note:  In my opinion, the “identity” being seeked by the Khazarian Jews is a one world government with them as the elite entities and all remaining humans as a servant or slave pandering to the needs and desires of the Khazars.  Are they really seeking a savior?  Perhaps the few religious individuals are looking for the appearance of a Messiah figure that matches their preconceived concepts of a warrior-leader with the appearance of their concept of a King David figure.

The news chief also went through a litany of claims from Jewish history about the Jews being expelled from each location where they have lived. He said they had wandered in the Sinai for 40 years and "it seems they are wandering even today north of Sinai; that is, in Palestine."

"They came like locusts and we fed them oranges and gave them fresh water, until they bit the hand that was extended to help them, and perpetuated massacres against their hosts. They came as guests, hungry and naked. They were sick with scabies, typhoid, measles and malaria," Al-Laham said.

Editor’s Note:  The book of Joel has had various explanations and interpretations throughout the years which will not be reviewed.  However, chapter one appears to be describing an actual locust infestation.  Chapter 2 appears to be an army of entities described with the characteristics of a locust infestation.  Could this army of invaders be the Khazarian and Edomite terrorists called the Irgun, Stern, Lehi, Haganah, Palmach gangs of 1930’s Zionism?

"We treated them, and we gave them refuge near our children. ... In the words of the poet, 'the mud forgot that it is nothing but lowly mud, and got arrogantly out of control.'"

Claims that the Jews want to rebuild the Temple began in the 1920s when Haj Amin Al-Husseini was the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem. Al-Husseini allied with Adolf Hitler during World War II.

Even today, however, the rebuilding of the Temple is feared by Palestinians. In September, for instance, flyers were distributed after evening prayers at a mosque in Hebron that showed the al-Aqsa mosque in flames and warning of its impending destruction by the Jews so the Temple could be rebuilt.

Editor’s Note:  The Palestinians fear the temple rebuilding will mean their annihilation.  The Palestinians are not Edomites regardless of the confused mind of David Bay and they do not live in Turkey.  The Edomites were integrated into the Jewish (Judahite) culture during the Maccabean Hasmonean wars prior to the birth of Christ and the invasion of the Romans.  The Edomites were erased as a culture and became Jews.

On October 15, Al-Jazeera, the Arab television network, launched a report on the futility of "messianic zealots" attempting to rebuild the Temple.

"The Temple Institute, largely funded by contributions from Jews abroad, has been preparing to replace the Dome of the Rock with a Third Temple to include barefoot priests, burnt offerings and even Internet connectivity. Designers at the organization's Old City office have hatched architectural plans — along with trumpets, lyres and a golden menorah — as part of what the organization's Chaim Richman describes as the fulfillment of the long-held Zionist dream and the coming of the messiah. The group aims to bypass religious rules against being in proximity to the Holy of Holies through an arcane purification ritual in which Cohanim (high priests) are doused in the ashes of a sacrificed heifer on which almost every hair was red," Al-Jazeera reported.

Another group, Har HaKodesh, has also posted a 3-D online rendering of how the Third Temple could appear in Jerusalem. If the rendering is accurate, it would cover both the site of the Al-Aqsa mosque as well as the Dome of the Rock, where the Temple was most likely located. It would also be significantly larger than the Second Temple.

The 3-D rendering also shows the footprint of the new Temple covering the Al-Aqsa mosque.

Many Palestinians also saw a recent interview with Tzipi Hotovely, Israel's deputy foreign minister, as a sign that the Jews were preparing to reclaim the Temple Mount. Hotovely told the Knesset Channel her dream "is to see the Israeli flag flying over the Temple Mount. This is the holiest place for the Jewish people."

Yoel Hasson, a member of the Zionist Union in the Kenneset said Hotovely, a "messianic deputy minister" with the "stubbornness of a donkey," was trying to incite the entire Middle East. Hotovely later said she was expressing her personal opinion and not official policy.

Or An Empire

With any usage of the word "antichrist" employed within a post, there is usually someone who berates me or another poster by saying the word "antichrist" only appears in 1 John and 2 John. Of course I know that fact quite well and I also know the so-called antichrist we generally refer to in the Revelation is actually called the "beast".  This is not the only beast in scripture.  Daniel 7 has four beasts that arise from the sea and they are all conspicuously described as empires.  Is it possible the beast referenced in Revelation 13 is also an end-times empire and not an actual individual, although a beast empire will have a leader or ruler? 
 At an old blog site I frequently visited in the past called Watchmen Bible Study which is not associated with the Jehovah’s Witnesses (still online but not active since 2010).  The administrator and primary poster, Nick Goggin, produced an article which included a commentary of Revelation chapter 13.  In this commentary, he stated the beast is an empire and not a person, although some translations appear to refer to the beast as a person in later sections of the chapter.  Mr. Goggin is not totally out to lunch as I initially thought because, although the KJV uses the pronouns “he” and “him” to address the beast, literal translations such as Green’s Literal Version and Young’s Literal Version translations use the pronoun “it” to reference the beast. 

There is no reason, scriptural or otherwise – in my opinion, the beast cannot be an empire although most prophecy students (and most of the civilized world) have been conditioned (perhaps brainwashed) to think of the beast as the antichrist or a person who will sit in some future Jewish temple and declare himself to be “god”.  Some people believe the actual temple will not be rebuilt because the temple is the Christian believer.  Keep in mind that some Jewish Rabbis consider Jews to be “one with god” and trans-genetic futurists believe mankind will evolve to godhood.

The beast which rises from the sea in 13:1-2 is a composite of the initial three beasts that emerge from the sea in Daniel 7:3-6:  the first was like a lion (with eagle’s wings); the second was like a bear (raised up on one side); and the third was like a leopard (with four wings of a fowl). 

The beast in Revelation 13 has ten horns as did the fourth beast of Daniel 7.  It is also described as having composite animal parts of the three Daniel 7 beasts: body of a leopard; feet of a bear; and the mouth of a lion similar to the first three beasts of Daniel 7.  If you read the recent post AC Arising out of Syria, that particular author considered these three beasts, prior to their amalgamation, as Russia, the bear, Britain and the USA as the lion, and Islam as the Leopard, although there is no known association of a leopard and Islam other than maybe the characteristics of a leopard are considered similar to those of Islam.  These beasts rising from the sea are NOT the same empires (or countries) as the statue of Daniel 2 regardless of one’s prophetic proclivity. 

Daniel 7:3-7 KJV  (3)  And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another.  (4)  The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings…..(5)  And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side….. (6)  After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads…..  (7)  After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.

Revelation 13:1-2 KJV  And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.  (2)  And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.

Is Symbolism Necessary?

Applying symbolism or symbolic representation to prophetic scripture is a process that most of us try to avoid as much as possible, although some instances must be considered symbolic.  Something necessary to state is that Biblical typology appears firmly entrenched in Christian doctrinal studies.  The Old Testament has been said to represent every aspect of Jesus Christ.  Symbolic representation and typology must play a big part.  At the Emmaus road journey, Jesus had much to say concerning his fulfillment of the Old Testament, and I will assume that many examples were symbolic and typologic.  How I wish that monologue was written down for us today.

Lately I have considered that Russia might be that beast (although doubtful) which was supposedly put to death during Reagan's term and now seems to have been resurrected to the status of an elite word power. It is also possible Russia could be considered the king of the north which is a more likely possibility.  In addition Russia could be the Daniel 7 beast that appears as a bear.  At the moment, Russia appears to be attempting to correct the Khazarian’s plan to minimize or eliminate Russia as a world power and to limit their expansion throughout the Middle East. 

On the other hand the USA was an elite world power performing the dirty military work for the Khazarian Jews (Israel and the city of London banking sector) destabilizing various countries around Israel apparently for the expansion of Israel.  The government now appears to be in a second place military position due to the military might of Russia. If the USA has a resurrection of military power with an influx of Khazarian money, since the Jews appear to have all the money, it might in the near future be considered the beast. The Khazarian Jews (or Israel) could be the false prophet since they are false Jews with no relation to the Semitic Abraham but rather to Japheth, Ashkenaz, and Khazar.  It is also possible the roles of the USA and Israel could be reversed with the USA as the false prophet and Israel as the beast.  A more positive identification will depend on future events, particularly in the Middle East (in my opinion).  Agree or not, Biblical scripture and prophecy always seems to revolve around the nation of Israel and the Middle East.

I realize this requires much of prophecy to be figurative or even symbolic rather than a literal absolute.  However, that may be the case.  It actually may be more literal than thought but just not in the manner we have been taught, thought, or heard for the past several years.  After coming to the conclusion the Gog-Magog invasion has already taken place with the Khazarian Ashkenazi Jews and Edomites invading Canaan after the Balfour declaration during the 30’s and 40’s, more semi-literal interpretations may necessarily be needed or perhaps different understandings of the prophecies we have learned over the years.  The Gog-Magog invasion is actually quite literal, just not in the manner as considered by exegetes and Bible teachers.

The manner that other prophetic Revelations fit into the above proposed scenario tie in is uncertain at the moment, but it may be ascertained before long.
