THE BIRTHRIGHT OF JOSEPH

CHAPTER 1

THE SCEPTER AND THE BIRTHRIGHT

Starting with Abraham, the Hebrew people were given a God ordained birthright title.  From Abraham to Isaac, to Jacob, and then to Joseph.  It was supposed to go to the oldest son but it rarely did.  Joseph had two sons named Ephraim and Manasseh by an Egyptian wife.  Jacob adopted the two sons of Joseph and split the birthright title between his own son, Judah, and Ephraim, the son of Joseph.  The Messianic kingship line referred to as the scepter, went to Judah and the birthright title went to Joseph and then to Ephraim and secondarily Manasseh.

1 Chronicles 5:2 KJV For Judah prevailed above his brethren, and of him came the chief ruler; but the birthright was Joseph's.

After the death of Solomon, his successor, Rohoboam, errantly decided to increase the tax rate even more than that of Solomon, who was taxing to build the temple.  Many of his northern subjects, under the leadership of the Ephraimite, Jeroboam, decided to rebel, which they did, and founded a separate kingdom in the north called Israel in c. 930 BC (historical documents vary on this date).  The tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh were the birthright holders and were entitled to employ the name, Israel.  Jacob was given the name of Israel by God after his repentance and acceptance of God as Lord. Therefore, the name of Israel, along with the birthright title was inherited by Joseph and then by Ephraim.

The split of the Davidic nation of Israel placed 10 tribes into the northern kingdom entitled Israel leaving Judah, Benjamin, and the majority of the Levites into the southern kingdom entitled Judah.  It must be understood that a few scattered individuals of the various tribes may have been in the opposing kingdom mostly due to the significance of the temple in the south, however the birthright title follows the leaders of the tribes not individual members.  This placed the linage of the kingship or scepter, ultimately Jesus, in the southern kingdom and the birthright inheritance tribes, in the north.

Around 126 BC the Hasmonean dynasty under the leadership of Hyrcanus of the Maccabees conquered the Edomites (descendants of Esau).  The Edomites were given the option to remain in Judea only if they agreed to be circumcised and follow the laws of the Jews which they accepted and thus became Jews.

Hyrcanus also took Dora, and Marissa, cities of Idumea, and subdued ALL the Idumeans, and permitted them to stay in that country if they would adopt the rite of circumcision, and make use of the laws of the Jews. And they were so desirous of living in the country of their forefathers, that they submitted. At which time therefore this befell them, that they were hereafter no other than Jews.

Malachi 1:1-4 KJV  The burden of the word of the LORD to Israel by Malachi.  (2)  I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob's brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob,  (3)  And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.  (4)  Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places; thus saith the LORD of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against whom the LORD hath indignation for ever.

Regardless of the verbiage of the Jews and various internet self-styled exegetes and preachers, there are few if any true blood Edomites today and the Palestinians are not Edomites either.  They were conquered and grafted into the Judahites and Benjamites of the Babylonian returnees.  Today’s exegetes unwilling to discard the prophecies concerning Edom, will employ another near East group as the Edomites but they are all in modern Israel as Jews.  The prophecies concerning Edom must still be fulfilled but by necessity they must be fulfilled concerning modern Israel which may shed new light on the Zionist movement as written by Malachi 1:4, “but we will return and build the desolate places”.  It could be that modern Israel is fulfilling two different sets of prophecies 1) pertaining to the remnant of Judah and 2) the descendants of Esau.

Some may be silently arguing:  He’s got it all wrong.  The Jews are Khazars.  I considered that argument as a fact for many years and there may be some truth in it, but let’s look at some of the evidence.  The main premise for this theory was made popular by Arthur Koestler in his book, The Thirteenth Tribe, and he is oddly, Jewish.  The Edomite conversion is also discussed in 1^st Maccabbees which was once in the KJV but was taken out.  Very few people read Josephus and usually only to search for a reference.  The Edomite conversion is historically documented and the Khazarian Jewish migration to Europe as Jews is not historically documented to my knowledge.  If it is please let me know.  The modern Jews are fully aware of their ancestry and the Old Testament prophecies associated with them.  I have recently read that some Jewish scientists claim their DNA ancestry is linked to the Khazars.  They would surely want the world, especially USA Christians, to think they may be related to Khazars than to Esau and the Edomites.

A quote from the Chuck Smith Commentary, “The Edomites of course have since passed off of the scene. The last Edomite that we know is Herod, king Herod of Idumaea and his family. And there ended the Edomite race. But of course, God has preserved Israel to the present time.”  I included this quote as evidence that most past and present commentators and expositors have a totally faulty view of the Edomites during the times of Jesus.  He claims that Herod was the last Edomite and when he and his family died it marked the end of the Edomites.  Mr. Smith is merely a convenient source but he is not the only commentator and expositor with this mistaken and faulty viewpoint.

The Fig Tree

The Judeans of Jesus’ day and the Jews of modern day represent the fig tree without fruit.  The leaders and the majority of the population were not fruit bearing trees at that time and they are not fruit bearing trees now and they never will be during this age.  To be precise, the twelve tribes of Hebrews (called Israelites) were not fruit bearing trees from the moment they entered the land of Canaan.

Matthew 21:19 KJV  And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.

When the cursed fig tree is seen again and bears many leaves but no fruit then you will know the end is near.

Matthew 21:43-44 KJV  Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.  (44)  And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

Will the present nation of Israel bring forth the fruits of the Kingdom of God?  Regardless of the mindset of deluded Bible teachers of today, this will never occur and it contradicts scripture, particularly Matthew 21- many leaves but no fruit.  What should be done to a tree that bears no fruit?  Cut it down and throw it in the fire.

Matthew 7:19 KJV  Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

Luke 3:8-9 KJV  Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.  (9)  And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: every tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

In Matthew 7:19 and Luke 3:9 above, “every tree” not bearing (good) fruit does not allow for exceptions.  They will be cast into the fire.  The nature of the fire is another subject.  Some say it is a refining fire that flows from the throne of God.

Esau

The story of Esau trading his birthright to Jacob for a bowl of stew is well known and won’t be repeated.  Esau was upset that he had been tricked of his birthright although it wasn’t to be given to him regardless, he cried for his loss of property and pleaded with Isaac to give him a blessing as well.

Genesis 27:39-40 KJV  And Isaac his father answered and said unto him, Behold, thy dwelling shall be the fatness of the earth, and of the dew of heaven from above;  (40)  And by thy sword shalt thou live, and shalt serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass when thou shalt have the dominion, that thou shalt break his yoke from off thy neck.

Isaac’s blessing to Esau is given in Genesis 27:39-40.  There is a big difference in translation of verse 39 in several versions.  The KJV, LXX, (and others) state that Esau will live in a productive area and the NET, NIV, and a few others translate it as an area away from productivity and rainfall.  Regardless, verse 40b is the important issue which claims that he (his people) will eventually have dominion i.e. be in control similar to the Jews (Edomites) as the bankers, money makers, media owners, movie studio owners, recording studio owners, government appointees, pornography producers, drug lords, and many other elite posts around the world.  It is my opinion the world is closely approaching the last days and this particular prophecy is being fulfilled.  Remember that Jacob gave the birthright blessing to Joseph and then to Ephraim.  Judah does not have the birthright and Esau certainly does not.  These birthright tribes (the so-called 10 lost tribes) represent Jacob (Caucasian:  England, USA, Canada, Australia, Europe, Russia, and South Africa) and the Jew/Edomite descendants are gaining more dominion each day mostly through their puppet USA government.  The role Russia and Europe plays in this scenario is unknown.  Notice in Malachi 1:4 the Lord says, “They shall build, but I will throw down”.

Is the current nation of Israel actually a movement to restore Jacob (renamed Israel) to the Promised Land as many evangelical preachers and expositors claim?  Perhaps it is rather a fulfillment of the Malachi prophecy which says that Edom will, “return and build the desolate places”.  Modern Israel is not the birthright Jacob, Joseph, or Ephraim.

Pre-millennial rapture dispensationalists have boxed themselves into a corner with conclusions, delusions, assumptions, and faulty doctrines that they cannot or will not see the prophecies and scriptures for what they actually state and claim.  They must have read the scriptures and the prophecies but fail to apply them to the actual events of the time.  It is their opinion that the current nation of Israel is all 12 tribes, they are the “apple of God’s eye”, and through them and them only, the total plan of God will be realized.  This will never occur with the Judean/Idumeans of current Israel.  Do they not believe the words of Jesus or do they consider His words as irrelevant in our world of political correctness?

Another Fig Tree Parable

The earthly ministry of Jesus lasted around 3 ½ years (regardless of some opposing opinions).  The fig tree parable found in Luke 13:6-9 is quite prophetic of His ministry.

Luke 13:6-9 NET  Then Jesus told this parable: "A man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came looking for fruit on it and found none.  (7)  So he said to the worker who tended the vineyard, 'For three years now, I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree, and each time I inspect it I find none. Cut it down! Why should it continue to deplete the soil?'  (8)  But the worker answered him, 'Sir, leave it alone this year too, until I dig around it and put fertilizer on it.  (9)  Then if it bears fruit next year, very well, but if not, you can cut it down.' "

A fig tree, symbolizing Judea/Idumea, did not produce fruit for three years.  The vineyard owner (Jesus) told the worker to cut down the worthless tree because it was depleting the soil. The worker implored the owner to leave it for one more year and he would tend it and fertilize it.  Then if it does not bear fruit it will be cut down.  Modern day Israel/Judea/Idumea was given one final opportunity to bear fruit, but it will never produce and it will be cut down and destroyed just as the Revelation states.

CHAPTER 2

THE IMPORTANCE OF THE BIRTHRIGHT

The historical northern kingdom of Israel consisting of the current so-called lost ten tribes are legally ordained by God as the holders of the birthright promise.  The house of northern Israel was originally deemed the wife of God but the Lord divorced His wife, however the future Israel will be the bride of Christ.  The first appearance of Jesus was to accept the scepter and establish His Kingship of the Kingdom of God as the Lion of the tribe of Judah.  This secured His throne rights as the Messiah.  His second appearance will be to the tribes of Joseph to secure His birthright inheritance and establish the fulfillment of the Kingdom of God which will be His Kingdom.  It was the actual Kingdom inheritance that went into captivity and that Kingdom is not lost.

Misunderstood Prophecy

Some deluded Bible teachers insist all twelve of the tribes are present in modern Israel but that is completely untrue.  There may have been a few individuals during the Idumean times of Jesus first appearance and there may be some in current Israel but they do not hold the birthright title and no one in modern Israel will ever hold or have access to that title.  The name Israel signifies the holders of the birthright but Judah, in the form of Idumeans, and current Israel of Judahite/Edomites do not hold that title.  These same deluded Bible teachers insist the lost ten tribes as well as British Israelism is a myth initiated by Herbert W. Armstrong of the original Worldwide Church of God.  Mr. Armstrong had some faulty doctrines, but he may have been led to discover the true nature of the so-called lost tribes, therefore, it is not a myth as will be explored later.

Unfulfilled prophecy cannot be properly comprehended without understanding the true Biblical nature of current Israel as opposed to the Biblical northern Israel of ten tribes.  As an example, go to Ezekiel 38-39 and plug in true Israel in the place of modern Israel at each occurrence of the word “Israel” and it completely changes the understanding or misunderstanding of the prophecy(s). 

Current Bible teachers and exegetes can write books and make money while convincing readers of their misunderstood concepts of the fulfillment of prophecy by current Israel and the surrounding areas and peoples but they are wrong if they consider as the entire twelve (or 13) tribes living in the Promised Land.  In 1948 the Idumeans proclaimed their new nation as Israel.  The evangelical world proclaimed that prophecy had been fulfilled.  The restoration of the Kingdom was at hand.  They were the chosen people of God and they would fulfill the remaining prophecies of the Bible.  The Christian world immediately placed their support behind the state that illegally took the name of Israel which could only be employed by the tribes of Joseph, Ephraim and Manasseh.

Judah only had the legal right to produce the Messiah as the inheritor of the scepter, which was done from 2 BC until the death and resurrection of Jesus in 33 AD.  When Jesus was born and secured His legal throne and Kingship rights the prophetic role of Judah concerning the salvation of the world was concluded.  The destruction of Jerusalem, the temple, and the Judean/Idumean remnant in 70 AD defines the final fulfillment of Judah regarding the Messiah-ship of Jesus.  One prophecy remaining to be fulfilled would be one final restatement of the cursed fig tree bearing many leaves but no fruit, which is the current Israel which is in the process of being fulfilled.

Northern Israel

The northern ten tribes began their nation around 930 BC due to a disagreement concerning taxation and leadership.  Jeroboam of the nation of Ephraim, the holder of the birthright, was the leader and first king of the nation.  A split or breach occurred when the birthright tribes were taken away from Solomon’s son, Rohoboam.  This nation lasted for 210 years and officially ended at the fall of Samaria in 721 BC.

Although the northern nation of Israel was destroyed and the majority of the population carted away by Assyria, the Old Testament prophets continued to prophesy the restoration of the House of Israel with the House of Judah, and the current nation of Israel is not that restoration and never will be in this present age regardless of the deluded teachings of Bible exegetes.

The “dry bones” prophecy of Ezekiel 37 was not fulfilled in 1948 as proclaimed by deluded Bible teachers, but will be fulfilled at the second coming of Jesus.  This passage speaks of the repair of the breach between Judah (Judeans) and Joseph (the northern nation of Israel).  It also speaks of resurrection from the dead.

Ezekiel 37:12 NET  Therefore prophesy, and tell them, 'This is what the sovereign LORD says: Look, I am about to open your graves and will raise you from your graves, my people. I will bring you to the land of Israel.

In verse 12 above, the Lord specifically says, “I am about to open your graves and will raise you from your graves”.  That will truly occur at the rapture (harpazo, catching (away), gathering (up)) and it did not happen symbolically or otherwise in 1948 because no individual from the ten northern tribes were present and no one was raised from the dead, even symbolically.

As stated in Part 1, Ezekiel was a type of missionary sent to the tribes of Israel by God.  He writes that Israel (10 northern tribes) have no shepherd and have become scattered over the face of the earth and that no one is earnestly searching for them.  The Lord states that He will search for them and deliver them in the “cloudy and dark day” which is a reference to the wrath of God prior to the complete fulfillment of the Kingdom of God during the Millennium era.

Ezekiel 34 KJV  (2)  Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel….. ( 5)  And they were scattered, because there is no shepherd: and they became meat to all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered.  (6)  My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and upon every high hill: yea, my flock was scattered upon all the face of the earth, and none did search or seek after them.  (12) KJV  As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.  (13)  And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country.

The Messiah, Jesus, is the King.  The house of Israel was His wife but will become His bride.  The House of Israel (Jacob, Joseph, Ephraim, and Manasseh) will be the future bride.  Israel is the birthright nation but all races and nations can join the wedding as bridesmaids (just be prepared and make certain your lamp has oil before the door closes).  It is my opinion that Israel is beloved by God and that Israel is the “apple of God’s eye”, but the current nation of Israel is NOT the birthright Israel and is not the “apple of His eye”.  Real Israel is among the nations soon to be the Bride of Christ, the future completely fulfilled Kingdom of God, and are currently among the righteous God-worshipping Christians referred to as the Church.  Members of the current nation of Israel who are actual tribal members of Judah, Benjamin, and Levi can be restored as the breach will be restored but will require a belief in Jesus Christ as the Messiah of Judah just like anyone else.  There is not two ways to salvation.

Dr. Stephen E. Jones: God’s Kingdom Ministry  While historians throughout history, and even the apostles in the New Testament, have continued to write about the Israelites, it is amazing that modern Bible teachers seem to ignore the facts completely. Their zeal to give the birthright to the Jews today blinds them to the entire flow of prophecy in its outworking among the modern nations.

The Location of Lost Israel

The Tribes by Yair Davidy: [Copied from Stephen Jones book entitled, Secrets of Time]   This book published in Hebron, Israel relates “the Israelite Origins of Western Peoples.” Its Jewish author even has a Letter of Commendation from Rabbi Abraham Feld of the prestigious Maccabee Institute in Jerusalem.

This book shows how most of the ancient Israelites were exiled and lost their identity and that today their descendants are to be found mainly amongst the “Gentile” peoples of North America, Northwest Europe, Australasia and South Africa. The present-day Jews in the Diaspora and Israel [i.e., the Israeli state] are mainly descended from only two of the original twelve tribes whereas the offspring of the remaining majority are in the above areas.… (p. 1) These claims are not far-fetched. They are supported by Biblical, Historical, and other evidence much of which is, in effect, even recognized by the academic world, which simply has not sufficiently co-related the information in its possession and has not drawn the necessary conclusions from the proof it already acknowledges. (p. 2) The Israelites were transported en-masse first mainly to areas in northern Mesopotamia and to Hara and from those regions they later moved northward into “Scythia” (roughly the area encompassed in the past by the U.S.S.R.) whence they migrated in several waves to the extreme north and west of Europe from which their descendants settled North America, Australasia, and South Africa. The peoples in these said nations today are thus in the Biblical and historical sense brothers of the Jews who came from the remaining southern kingdom of Judah and comprised the second half of the Hebrew nation with the Lost Ten Tribes comprising the remainder. The Jews and the Lost Ten Tribes together form the Israelite HEBREW nation. (p. 7)

CHAPTER 3

MIGRATION OF ISRAEL

When the northern nation of Israel was conquered and deported by the Assyrians the people were considered lost because they were not identified by their usual names of Israel or the name of a tribe.  This concept of lost-ness is prophetic although Jesus knew their location and sent his disciples as missionaries as will be shown later.

Deuteronomy 32:26 KJV  I said, I would scatter them into corners, I would make the remembrance of them to cease from among men:

The beginning of Hosea relates that God will have tribal Israel deposed (dispersed), divorced from God, scattered without mercy, and will no longer be the people of God or the wife of God.  Immediately after the condemnation, it is announced that Israel, in the future, would be regathered and appoint themselves one head (Jesus the King) rather than two separate nations with two kings.  The prophet also stated that Israel, while dispersed, would greatly increase in population (shall be as the sand of the sea).

Hosea 1:10-11 KJV  Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God.  (11)  Then shall the children of Judah and the children of Israel be gathered together, and appoint themselves one head, and they shall come up out of the land: for great shall be the day of Jezreel.

Hosea was told to marry a woman of ill repute (a whore).  A son was born named Jezreel, which was also the name of a valley in northern Israel.  Its Hebrew meaning is “to scatter and God sows”.  The people of Israel were scattered but they were also sown as seed which created a large population.  Abraham was promised that his seed would be as the “sand of the sea” and that prophecy has been fulfilled with the population of Israel “as the sand of the sea”.

Two Clay Vessels

Israel is compared to a wet clay pot during the process of formation.  If the potter is unhappy with the shape and look of the vessel then it can we easily reworked to another form because the clay is moist, plyable and reshapable.  The nation of Israel will be reshaped and plyed to the will of God to be prepared as the future bride of Christ (legally, a divorced husband and wife can remarry without sin if no other alliances were made in the meantime).

Jeremiah 18:6 NET  "I, the LORD, say: 'O nation of Israel, can I not deal with you as this potter deals with the clay? In my hands, you, O nation of Israel, are just like the clay in this potter's hand.'

On the southern side of the border, Judah is compared to a cured dry vessel which is to be broken into pieces with no chance of repair or reshaping.  This prophecy was delivered to the Judeans just prior to the Babylonian invasion, however it must also be a long term prophecy with dual fulfillments.  The Judeans returned to the land after 70 years of captivity but were destroyed and scattered in 70 AD.  In 1948 Israel became an illegal nation with an illegal name, from the standpoint of God and the birthright.  They are yet to be completely broken as was the cured pottery through Jeremiah.  As the wet clay prophecy concerns the dispersed northern Israel after the wrath of God, so does the cured pottery prophecy pertain to the Judeans/Edomites of the current nation of Israel as well.

Jeremiah 19:10-11 NET  The LORD continued, "Now break the jar in front of those who have come here with you.  (11)  Tell them the LORD who rules over all says, 'I will do just as Jeremiah has done. I will smash this nation and this city as though it were a potter's vessel which is broken beyond repair. The dead will be buried here in Topheth until there is no more room to bury them.'

Topheth is the valley of the son of Hinnom or Gehenna, as referenced by Jesus.

Merrill Unger Testimony

The Unger snippet below indicates that Assyria associated northern Israel with the former King, Omri.  Thus the Assyrian records name the Israel people as Bit-Humri translated as House of Omni.

The initial contact between Israel and Assyria evidently occurred during Omri’s day, for from that time on Israel appears in cuneiform records as Bit-Humri (‘ House of Omri’). This official appelation was applied to Samaria, the capital city. Moreover, the designation of an Israelite King became Mar Humri (‘ son,’ i.e., ‘royal successor of Omri’). Tiglath Pileser III’s reference to the land of Israel over a century later by its official name Bit Humria evidences the significance of Omri as a ruler in the history of Israel.

Although thename “Omni” is an English spelling and pronunciation the Hebrew pronunciation was “Ghomri” and later as “Khumri”.  The Welch people of today continue to identify with their ancient name of “Khumri”.

The name “Gimirri” was once considered by Bible scholars as an identification of Gomer, a descendant of Japheth, rather than “Ghomri” (Omri).  At the library excavated in Nineveh it was discovered that “Gimirri” is associated with “Ghomri”.  As a side note, the name Gomer, was the name of the harlot wife of Hosea and it was he who prophesied to northern Israel.  Therefore the Ghomri-Gimirri were people of northern Israel.

A.E. Harkavy Testimony

As the population of the displaced people of Israel grew in number they began to migrate from the area south of the Caucasus mountains between the Black and Caspian Seas toward the north and west through modern Turkey into Europe.  Many traveled to Europe through the Caucasus into the Crimean peninsula.  Their stay in the Caucasus area the name of Caucasians was applied to them.  Some tombstones have been discovered in Crimea with Israelite origins.  One tombstone epitaph reads as follows:

I, Jehuda ben Mose ha Nagolon, of the East country, ben Jehuda ha-Gibbor of the tribe of Naphtali, of the generation Schillem, who went into exile with the exiles who were driven away with Hosea, the king of Israel, together with the tribes of Simeon and Dan and some of the generations of the other tribes of Israel, which (all) were led into exile by the enemy Shalmanezer from Schomron and their cities to Chalach, that is, Baclack and to Chabar, that is, Chabul and to Hara, that is, Herat, and to Gosan, that is, Gozna, the cities of the exiled tribes of Reuben, Gad, and the half of Manasseh, etc.

Josephus Testimony

Josephus wrote his historical works shortly after the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD.  According to some of his writings, information concerning the tribes of Israel were known either during of right after the time of the apostles.

Wherefore there are but two tribes in Asia and Europe subject to the Romans; while the ten tribes are beyond Euphrates till now; and are an immense multitude, and not to be estimated by numbers.

New Testament Testimony

James specifically addresses natives of northern Israel as the twelve tribes dispersed abroad.  Peter addresses those temporarily residing abroad and is not as specific as James.  However, he does name them as chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father and as being set apart by the Spirit.  It is doubtful he would send this acknowledgment to anyone other than the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

James 1:1 NET  From James, a slave of God and the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes dispersed abroad. Greetings!

1 Peter 1:1-2 NET  From Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to those temporarily residing abroad (in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, the province of Asia, and Bithynia) who are chosen  (2)  according to the foreknowledge of God the Father by being set apart by the Spirit for obedience and for sprinkling with Jesus Christ's blood. May grace and peace be yours in full measure!

As noted above, there are many historical writings and examples concerning the location of the so-called “lost tribes” of Israel.  If you live in the USA, northern and western Europe, most of Russia, Canada, Australia, and various British colonial countries the lost tribe member may be you and your next door neighbor.  The British flag called the “Union Jack” is a shortened form of Jacob.  The tribe of Joseph became two distinct tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh and the USA and Canada are two related but separate countries.  The International Peace Arch on the USA-Canadian border reads:  “Children of a common mother” and “Brethren dwelling together in unity”.  This recognizes the two sons of Joseph born of the same mother.  These sons were given the birthright of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph.  The Caucasian parts of the world became the seed ground for Christianity (although all can believe and be adopted).  It was the plan of God for the Gospel of Jesus Christ go first to them and they would preach it to everyone else. 

Some find it astonishing, including me, with all the historical information available that so-called top of the line Bible teachers, commentators, preachers, and expositors deny the facts of Israel’s location and many merely ignore the information.  Their enthusiasm (or should I say fanaticism) to grant the current state of Israel the title of the restoration of the twelve tribes is understandable but unbelievable.  Even Jesus acknowledges the existence of the “lost sheep of the house of Israel” in Matthew 10:6.  Do Bible teachers read this verse and consider the lost sheep to be in northern Samaria?  Apparently Jesus knew exactly where they were located and sent the twelve disciples to give them the news of the Kingdom of God.

Matthew 10:5-6 NET  Jesus sent out these twelve, instructing them as follows: "Do not go to Gentile regions and do not enter any Samaritan town.  (6)  Go instead to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

The book mentioned earlier entitled, The Tribes by Yair Davidy is extremely valuable in that Jewish scholars are admitting and recognizing that most of western and northern Europe were populated by the so-called “lost tribes” of Israel.  Some scholars believe the Jews have known these facts for quite a time but have failed to make it widely public for some unknown reason other than possibly energizing the evangelical movement and changing the sentiment and monetary support they provide.

Summary

The ten tribes of northern Israel were originally led captive to an area around modern southeastern Turkey.  From there, they migrated into the Caucasus area between the Black and Caspian Seas.  As the population greatly expanded they migrated north and west toward Europe although some apparently went into the Russian area.  Many kept moving into Scandinavia, England, France, and the area between current Belgium and the Ukraine.  Many of the Danites appear to have migrated into southern Greece and then into Germany prior to the Assyrian invasion. Other Danites became part of the migrations of the ten tribes mentioned above.

Prior to their big migration, Jesus and the apostles knew they were in the southeast Turkey, northern Syria, and lower Caucasus area.  The apostles traveled there to them and gave them the gospel of Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God.

Modern book writers calling themselves Bible teachers reject or deny the existence and the verifying evidence concerning the ten tribes.  They continue to maintain that the current state of Israel is an amalgamated collection of all the tribes and that “British Israelism” is a myth concocted by conspiracy theorists and Israel haters.  The birthright promise of Ephraim and Manasseh, which includes all of the ten tribes, is extremely important to the fulfillment of prophecy and the plan of God.  Jesus, as the King of the Kingdom, was warranted to ascend to heaven so that He could repair the breach between all twelve tribes and ultimately His Kingdom.  His first coming was as the Lion of the tribe of Judah to secure His Messianic throne rights as the King.  His second coming, among other things, will be to secure His birthright as the King of the Kingdom.  This is not a minor concept, but rather it is the main central theme of the entire Bible and history.

CHAPTER 4

JUDAISM

In a recent quote of Yair Davidy from his work, The Tribes, he notes that many Jews are fully aware of the location of the ten tribes of Israel.  It perhaps, could he said that many educated and intellectual Jews are also aware of the “lost” Israelites existence and locations.  Rabbi Abraham Feld makes the following comment concerning Mr. Davidy:

“He is working in the spirit of the students of the Gaon Elyahu of Vilna, who sent emissaries looking for the lost tribes. Indeed, the Jerusalem Talmud declares in the days to come the ten tribes will be righteous converts (Sanhedrin 10)”.

It is apparent (to me, anyway) that Mr. Davidy and other Jews would be pleased if Christians reunited with the Jewish faith in some manner, either as a convert to Judaism or Messianic Judaism (Judaism with Jesus on top).  They appear to be attempting to heal the breach and reunite Judah and Israel under the banner of Judaism rather than under Christianity as prescribed by Jesus.  Mr. Davidy desires they support the illegal (according to God) Zionism movement which is not the fulfillment of prophecy.  There are some converts or close proximities – some people prefer rituals and works rather than repentance and faith.

Modern Jewish Israel is currently fulfilling the prophecy of the cursed fig tree – many leaves but no fruit.  The unrepentant will be cut down and thrown into the fire.

Matthew 21:43 NET  For this reason I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit.

Having mingled and intermarried with the Edomites under the Maccabean rule they are also fulfilling the prophecies concerning Esau and the Edomites which states they will come to a violent end after returning to the old land of Israel.

Isaiah 34:5 NET  He says, "Indeed, my sword has slaughtered heavenly powers. Look, it now descends on Edom, on the people I will annihilate in judgment."

Ezekiel 35:3-6 NET  Say to it, 'This is what the sovereign LORD says: " 'Look, I am against you, Mount Seir; I will stretch out my hand against you and turn you into a desolate ruin.  (4)  I will lay waste your cities; and you will become desolate. Then you will know that I am the LORD!  (5)  " 'You have shown unrelenting hostility and poured the people of Israel onto the blades of a sword at the time of their calamity, at the time of their final punishment.  (6)  Therefore, as surely as I live, declares the sovereign LORD, I will subject you to bloodshed, and bloodshed will pursue you. Since you did not hate bloodshed, bloodshed will pursue you.

Hebrew Roots

Regardless of the conversion plans and desires of the Jews, the promises of God are not to be found in Judaism.  The theory that the apostle Paul was a false prophet and not a true follower of Christ is usually put forth by those of the “Hebrew roots movement”.  They assume, since Paul said, in several instances, that Christians are no longer under the Law, therefore they consider him a false apostle.  It is easy to become confused concerning the law, as I have been at one time, but it should be considered that many could be confused about the teachings of Paul because, on occasion, his writing can be difficult to comprehand.  However, he stated in the below verse, “though I am not free from God's law but under the law of Christ” that the law of God has become the law of Christ that is written on his heart (mind, consciousness) and that he still abides by the law.  It is my consideration that Paul abided by the actual law of God but not the rituals and the man-made enhanced and expanded laws produced by the scribes and Pharisees which became part of the Talmud.  (A central text of Rabbinic Judaism. It is also traditionally referred to as Shas, a Hebrew abbreviation of shisha sedarim, the "six orders". The term "Talmud" normally refers to the collection of writings named specifically the Babylonian Talmud).

1 Corinthians 9:21 NET  To those free from the law I became like one free from the law (though I am not free from God's law but under the law of Christ) to gain those free from the law.

In the parable beginning in Luke 19:12, it is related the citizens of the King hated Him and said, “We do not want this man to be king over us”.  Although stated as a parable, it was actually lived out in real time including the current time.  Later in the story it will be told that the haters of the nobleman or enemies will be slaughtered in the presence of the King because they rejected His rule over them.

Luke 19:27 NET  But as for these enemies of mine who did not want me to be their king, bring them here and slaughter them in front of me!”

For over 2000 years the Jews have lived without a King because they rejected Him and refused His rule.  It is possible their motive for crucifixion was an attempt to seize the birthright inheritance for themselves.  Jesus was of the linage of Judah and He came to receive the scepter of Kingship.  The prophesied purpose of Judah/Judeans was finished after the ascension of Jesus and the next fulfilled prophecy concerning Joseph would be to gather the ten northern tribes who would be entitled to the birthright inheritance.  Maybe they did not realize when all twelve tribes were a single nation, their name could legally be called Israel because the inheritance was available to all.  Only when Rohoboam incited dissension did the birthright and the scepter inheritances divide or become breached.  Now they are unobtainable to the Jews but they are devising methods to hopefully retrieve them, however their plans will fail.

Anyone converting to Judaism would be to take on the curse that has been laid upon that nation (all leaves – no fruit, then cut down and thrown in the fire). The solution is not for Israelites to unite with Jews or convert to Judaism, but for Jews to acknowledge their national sin, repent and proclaim Jesus as Lord.  Some have confirmed the position of Judaism by claiming or thinking that Jews can be saved without accepting Jesus Christ.  Rabbis may be intelligent with an abundance of knowledge but they are not Godly with Jesus Christ.  Accommodating them and avoiding negative language only causes them to become for Judaic and instigates the concept they can receive salvation through Judaism.  They continue to exclaim, “we will not have this man rule over us”.  There are not many doors to salvation, only one, which is Jesus Christ.  When the Judeans rejected Jesus they forfeited their legal right in the sight of God to refer to themselves as Judah or Jews.  Although Jews may be a more appropriate term.  Also, keep in mind that Jews refer to people of the nations, whether real Israelites or not, as goy and cattle.

Was All Israel Deported?

Many exegetes, commentators, and preachers erroneously teach that all the twelve tribes were in Judea during the advent of Jesus.  As said previously, when northern Israel was conquered and deported to northeast Assyria, there were several tribe members who escaped and remained in the area of Samaria.  Some may even have gone to Judah as can be witnessed in the gospels.  When the Babylonians conquered Judah, a few escaped including Jeremiah but these escapees could have been absorbed by surrounding cultures. 

2 Kings 17:23-24 KJV  Until the LORD removed Israel out of his sight, as he had said by all his servants the prophets. So was Israel carried away out of their own land to Assyria unto this day.  (24)  And the king of Assyria brought men from Babylon, and from Cuthah, and from Ava, and from Hamath, and from Sepharvaim, and placed them in the cities of Samaria instead of the children of Israel: and they possessed Samaria, and dwelt in the cities thereof.

2 Kings 17:18 KJV  Therefore the LORD was very angry with Israel, and removed them out of his sight: there was none left but the tribe of Judah only.

The Shekinah glory of God was not present in Herod’s temple and the sacrificial system was a failed system.  According to scripture even the city of Jerusalem was cast off and it was destroyed in 70 AD.  The crusaders and Arabs rebuilt Old Jerusalem with the future assistance of the Judean/Edomites.

2 Kings 23:27 KJV  And the LORD said, I will remove Judah also out of my sight, as I have removed Israel, and will cast off this city Jerusalem which I have chosen, and the house of which I said, My name shall be there.

If a new temple is built in current Jerusalem, which I scripturally assume it will be, God’s glory will not be there either and the sacrifices will again be a failed system for the remission of sins.

Summary

Currently, the sharpest minds in the world  are in total ignorance of the unprecedented  destruction that is about to occur. The primary reason for this ignorance is that certain Biblical tenants have not been understood or believed.  This primary Biblical key is the separation of the scepter (Kingship) promise and the birthright promise between Judah and Joseph.  The nation of Judah fulfilled the scepter promise, although the majority rejected the scepter receiver which was and is the Messiah, Jesus Christ.

God’s Short Term Protection

After the total destruction of Israel, God elected to decimate the Assyrian army before it could destroy Jerusalem by killing their soldiers while they slept.  Finally Judah’s iniquity and idolatry became too great and God permitted Babylon to overtake them but allowed many Judahites to be taken captive to Babylon and live in relative peace.  Then God had Cyrus to agree for their release and return to Judea to rebuild the city, the wall, and the temple.  The Judahites had difficult times but they survived the Selucids and the Romans until and through the birth, life, death, and ascension of Jesus, the King of the Kingdom, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, and the recipient of the scepter through the genealogy of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Judah including David.  God allowed them a few years to repent but finally permitted the Roman army to destroy the temple and the city of Jerusalem.

The birthright promise was bestowed upon Joseph and then through Ephraim and Manasseh.  These birthright tribes were deported by Assyria and finally ended up in northwestern Europe.  From there they migrated to the British colonies including the USA, Canada, and Australia.  It is also reported than the majority of Caucasian Russians and the Ukraine are of the tribes of Israel.  Jesus will return to also claim His birthright as King of the Kingdom of God also known as the Millennial reign of Christ.  The first advent was the scepter and the second advent will be the birthright.  Even so, come Lord Jesus.

CHAPTER 5

 THE COVENANT

The Hebrews were released from their Egyptian captivity, then several years later, entered Canaan, the Promised Land, and became known as Israel.  Because the nation consisted of all twelve tribes, they could legally, by the standards of God, call or name themselves Israel.  The Hebrew people began with Abram, later called Abraham.  God called Abraham to establish a nation of people of His own.  His righteousness and great faith earned him a covenant gift from God.  The covenant between God and Abraham was enacted in a manner similar to the blood covenant concept of the day, but God did the covenantal work while Abraham was put to sleep and viewed the covenant as a dream or vision.

The actual material inheritance of the birthright promise of the covenant that is passed  from one generation to another is only understood by very few individuals.  It conferred the richest, most valuable material inheritance ever passed through a family line.  The implications concerning the magnitude of this Birthright is considered by many to be incredible.  Regardless of the importance of the birthright it appears the churches, evangelicals, Bible teachers, scholars and higher critics of the Bible, seem never to discern or understand the implications. This inheritance unconditionally guaranteed on the authority of God, a vast population, wealth and material resources, national greatness, and world power.

To Abraham

At various times and places God repeated and occasionally expanded the covenant promises to Abraham, then Isaac, and later to Jacob.  The first instance to be analyzed was given to Abraham.

Genesis 17:2, 4-6 NET  Then I will confirm my covenant between me and you, and I will give you a multitude of descendants."  (4) "As for me, this is my covenant with you: You will be the father of a multitude of nations.  (5)  No longer will your name be Abram. Instead, your name will be Abraham because I will make you the father of a multitude of nations.  (6)  I will make you extremely fruitful. I will make nations of you, and kings will descend from you.

In this particular account Abraham is promised to eventually be the “father of a multitude of nations”.  He is later again told that God will make nations of you and also that kings (plural) will descend from you.

I would say that Old Testament Israel never consisted of a multitude (many) of nations perhaps several kings but they were all of the same nation.  The kingdom of Solomon was the nation’s largest expanse but it doesn’t qualify.  It can also be said that the current nation of Israel does not consist of many nations and probably never will unless one were to count the nations controlled by the beast/antichrist.  It’s not certain if the Millennium will have nations but they certainly won’t have but one King.  If the reader insists on maintaining a contrary opinion regarding the concept being portrayed in this series, it is certain some lame notion can be contrived.

The next iteration of the covenant promise to be viewed is found in Genesis 22:17 which is also spoken to Abraham.

Genesis 22:17 NET  I will indeed bless you, and I will greatly multiply your descendants so that they will be as countless as the stars in the sky or the grains of sand on the seashore. Your descendants will take possession of the strongholds (gates) of their enemies.

According to this verse the descendants of Abraham will be so numerous they are compared to the stars in the sky and the grains of sand on the seashore.  That is a multitude of people.  This promise statement is expanded with the addition of descendants taking possession of their enemies strongholds or gates in some versions.  The gates are generally considered the Suez Canal, the Panama Canal, and a few others, but Brittan has given up control of Suez, Gibraltar, and Hong Kong with the USA releasing control of the Panama Canal.

It should be apparent to everyone reading the above covenant statements that the ancient Israel of twelve tribes and the current modern day state of Israel were ever the recipients of these promises.  It could be stated that current Israel has hijacked the governments and military services of the birthright nations to set up a large blood sucking banking system, used various militaries to subjugate various countries they perceive as enemies, and destroyed various governments to set the way for a one world government.  The complete prophetic fulfillment of the birthright promise can be found during the Millennium when the government of the entire earth will be under the reign of Jesus Christ.  It appears the Judahite/Edomite residue desires to fulfill that prophecy themselves through murder and destruction using the resources of land, military, and money of the true Israelites.  Can anyone be astonished the Judahites/Edomites and their mystery, Babylon city of Jerusalem are destroyed according to the Revelation?

The USA is not mystery, Babylon.  Rather, the USA and various European countries are merely duped puppets of the Luceriferian engine of godless destruction of the real mystery, Babylon.  Unfortunately, many of the true Israelites are continuing to worship the false idols of money, power, and prestige.  Many evangelicals have also been duped to believe that false Israel is the fulfillment of the covenant promise and will lead the world to salvation and glory when they should be praying to Jesus for understanding and comprehension.

To Isaac

Due to another famine, Isaac was about to leave for Egypt.  God advised him to stand in the land and then restated the covenant to him.

Genesis 26:3-4 NET  Stay in this land. Then I will be with you and will bless you, for I will give all these lands to you and to your descendants, and I will fulfill the solemn promise I made to your father Abraham.  (4)  I will multiply your descendants so they will be as numerous as the stars in the sky, and I will give them all these lands. All the nations of the earth will pronounce blessings on one another using the name of your descendants.

God promised to give Isaac all the lands in his vicinity and ultimately all the lands would be given to his descendants who would be as numerous as the stars in the sky.

The Blessing of Isaac To Jacob

At the conclusion of the trickery scheme that Jacob and Rebecca played with Isaac, the blessing of the birthright inheritance promise was given to Jacob.  The people of the birthright promise would be given a rich land with plenty of rain with the ability to produce large and abundant crops.  They would be at the top of the ladder and other nations would be in awe of their bountiful and copious lifestyle.

Genesis 27:28-29 NET  May God give you the dew of the sky and the richness of the earth, and plenty of grain and new wine.  (29)  May peoples serve you and nations bow down to you. You will be lord over your brothers, and the sons of your mother will bow down to you. May those who curse you be cursed, and those who bless you be blessed."

“May those who curse you be cursed, and those who bless you be blessed.”  This promise was first given to Abraham and then repeated to Jacob by Isaac.  It does not apply to the current Jews but to the descendants of the birthright promise.  This bit of prophetic information is totally misunderstood by deluded and duped evangelicals, Bible teachers and commentators, and other dubious individuals.  This is one reason, among many, that true Israelites need to understand the dual nature of the covenant promise of the scepter (crown) and the birthright inheritance.  The scepter promise was given to Judah and was fulfilled with Jesus Christ.  The birthright promise was given to Joseph, then Ephraim and Manasseh, the Israelites in their Assyrian deportation, and will be completely fulfilled at the second coming of the Lord.  The current Judeans continue to vilify and curse the USA, and various European countries.  It appears they are cursed by God.

To Jacob

Another iteration of the covenant from God to Jacob enhances the promise to include some new details.  It is debatable if there is more dust of the earth than sand on the seashores, but Jacob and the birthright promise is to have an immense number of descendants.  They will cover the earth in all directions of the compass.  God promises to always be with the recipients of the birthright promise and He will protect them wherever they happen to be.  In Genesis 35:11, God repeats the promise made to Abraham that Jacob’s descendants would be a nation and a company of nations which will produce kings and leaders.

Genesis 28:14-15 NET  Your descendants will be like the dust of the earth, and you will spread out to the west, east, north, and south. All the families of the earth will pronounce blessings on one another using your name and that of your descendants.  (15)  I am with you! I will protect you wherever you go and will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I promised you!"

Genesis 35:11 KJV  And God said unto him, I am God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins;

Notice that verse 35:11 states that Jacob’s descendants would become a nation and a company of nations.  Some view this prophecy as referring to the single nation consisting of the USA and the company of nations as referring to the northwestern countries of Europe, possibly including Russia, Ukraine, Australia, Canada, and others.

The ancient Judeans as well as the current state of Israel did not fulfill these promises.  There is only one state of Israel which is having issues maintaining it against the Arab hatred.  Why do the Arabs hate them and desire to drive them into the sea?  Perhaps they understand the prophecies discussed so far better than the Caucasians who are supposed to fulfill them.

Jeremiah and the Promise

Jeremiah prophesies that God will gather together all descendants of the northern Israelite nation.  Where will they come from?  Northern lands and all other lands to which they migrated after they were banished from their original home land.

Jeremiah 23:8 NET  But at that time they will affirm them with "I swear as surely as the LORD lives who delivered the descendants of the former nation of Israel from the land of the north and from all the other lands where he had banished them." At that time they will live in their own land.' "

In verse 17 below, Jeremiah states a known fact at his time, “the people of Israel are like scattered sheep”.  Jeremiah is prophesying during or after the Babylonian invasion and he includes both northern Israel and southern Judah in this particular prophecy referring to both the king of Assyria and the king of Babylonia.  The Assyrian king was historically punished and the king(s) of Babylon will soon be punished by Alexander the Great.

Jeremiah 50:17-20 NET  "The people of Israel are like scattered sheep which lions have chased away. First the king of Assyria devoured them. Now last of all King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon has gnawed their bones.  (18)  So I, the LORD God of Israel who rules over all, say: 'I will punish the king of Babylon and his land just as I punished the king of Assyria.  (19)  But I will restore the flock of Israel to their own pasture. They will graze on Mount Carmel and the land of Bashan. They will eat until they are full on the hills of Ephraim and the land of Gilead.  (20)  When that time comes, no guilt will be found in Israel. No sin will be found in Judah. For I will forgive those of them I have allowed to survive. I, the LORD, affirm it.' "

Verse 19 states that God will restore the state of northern Israel to their own land.  Mentioned places include Mount Carmel which is in northwestern Israel below Lebanon and the land of Bashan which was the area inhabited by the tribe of Dan.  Almost mentioned are the hills of Ephraim and the land of Gilead, also in northern Israel.

During the Millennial restoration Israel will be considered free of guilt and the remnant of Judah will be free of sin.  These will be the survivors (them I have allowed to survive).

CHAPTER 6

THE DISPERSION OF ISRAEL & JUDAH

Israel and Judah (Jews)

The next topic may not need to be repeated but for those who are unaware, here goes the story.  During the reigns of David and Solomon the entire nation consisting of twelve tribes of Hebrew people were named and referred to as Israel due to the birthright promise (the land of Canaan) as given to Joseph and then to Ephraim and Manasseh.  God told Solomon that his son and successor would undergo the punishment that God was to give to Solomon for possessing foreign wives and practicing idolatry and iniquity that was inspired by his foreign wives.  The punishment would be that all the tribes with the exception of Judah and Benjamin would be separated from Judah to implement another nation.  Solomon’s son and successor, named Rohoboam, would be permitted to maintain two tribes, Judah and Benjamin, so that God’s covenant to David that he would always have a descendant on the throne as king would continue.

When Solomon died and his son, Rohoboam, ascended the throne, the tribes, under the leadership of the Ephraimite, Jeroboam, approached the king asking that the burdensome taxes imposed by Solomon to build the temple could be lessened or removed.  Rohoboam’s answer was, “my father chastened you with whips, but I will chasten you with scorpions”.  This comment led to a rebellion resulting in the northern ten tribes instituting their own separate kingdom with the capital in Samaria and Jeroboam, the Ephraimite, as the first king.  The new kingdom immediately began worshipping golden calves and most of the Levites departed back to the temple in the south. 

The southern nation now consisting of Judah, Benjamin, and the majority of the Levites named themselves Judah.  The new northern kingdom maintained the name of Israel because they were now the birthright nation due to the residence of the birthright tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh.  Any prophetic or historical work from this point onward using the term or name “Israel” is referring to the ten tribes of the northern nation of Israel.  Therefore, any reference to the southern tribe will use the name Judah.  Israel is never Judah and Judah is never Israel.

When Pekah, king of Israel, was allied with Syria in a war with Ahab, king of Judah, the scripture uses the word “Jews” for the first time in 2Kings 16:6.  The word or term “Jews” is always referring to people of Judah and never to anyone of the northern kingdom of Israel.

2 Kings 16:6 KJV  At that time Rezin king of Syria recovered Elath to Syria, and drove the Jews from Elath: and the Syrians came to Elath, and dwelt there unto this day.

In the four gospels and the book of Acts the word “Israel” is often used by Jesus and others.  It appears to refer to individuals as a descendent of Jacob (named Israel) in a collective sense and not in a national sense such as a citizen of the nation of Israel because there was not a nation of Israel at this time.  The actual residents of the northern kingdom of Israel had already been deported almost 750 years prior to the New Testament.

Samaritans

After the nation of Israel was deported by the Assyrians, the military of Assyrian brought in people of several ethnic cultures in live in the area of Samaria.  These people were called the Samaritans during the days of Jesus and the disciples.  These Samaritans were not related to the Jews or Israelites and were not a cultural mixture.

2 Kings 17:24 KJV  And the king of Assyria brought men from Babylon, and from Cuthah, and from Ava, and from Hamath, and from Sepharvaim, and placed them in the cities of Samaria instead of the children of Israel: and they possessed Samaria, and dwelt in the cities thereof.

The Assyrian king had placed a priest of Israel (they worshipped golden calves) within the foreign mixture of Samaria for the purpose of teaching them the manner of the “god” of the northern Israel people. 

2 Kings 17:27-28 KJV  Then the king of Assyria commanded, saying, Carry thither one of the priests whom ye brought from thence; and let them go and dwell there, and let him teach them the manner of the God of the land.  (28)  Then one of the priests whom they had carried away from Samaria came and dwelt in Bethel, and taught them how they should fear the LORD.

Recall that the woman at the well vaguely referred to the religion of the Jews and was curious concerning Jesus asking for a drink of water since Jews did not use or share anything with the Samaitans.  Perhaps due to the ancestral teachings of her people, she referred to herself as an ancestor of Jacob or perhaps she actually was related but not as an Israelite or Judahite.

John 4:12 NET  Surely you're not greater than our ancestor Jacob, are you? For he gave us this well and drank from it himself, along with his sons and his livestock."

Cut Off

All Davidic Israel was prophesied to be dispersed and scattered around the world.

Deuteronomy 32:26 KJV  I said, I would scatter them into corners, I would make the remembrance of them to cease from among men:

The first group or nation of 10 tribes was the northern birthright nation of Israel.  They were called the wife of God but due to their continued idolatry God divorced them.  They began their nationhood with two golden calves as a center of worship.  No amount of pleading by God or prophets could make them change.  A prophecy in Isaiah hints (some say it states plainly) they will all speak a language other than Hebrew. 

Isaiah 28:10-11 KJV  For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:  (11)  For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.

Isaiah 28:10-11 NET  Indeed, they will hear meaningless gibberish, senseless babbling, a syllable here, a syllable there.  (11)  For with mocking lips and a foreign tongue he will speak to these people.

I included two versions of Isaiah 28:8-10 to display the difference between the translations of verse 10.  Many times an exegete will use the KJV of verse 10 to prove that messages and truths in the scripture cannot be found together in one place but must be sectioned together from several places in the Bible.  This may well be true but the correct understanding of this verse in its context appears to be otherwise.

The nation of Israel were cut off from the presence of God for several hundred years until the disciples of Christ and various missionaries afterward brought the unique teaching of salvation of God by faith through Jesus Christ.

CHAPTER 7

THE COVENANT TO DAVID

2 Samuel 7:10 KJV  Moreover I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own, and move no more; neither shall the children of wickedness afflict them any more, as beforetime,

2 Samuel 7:16 KJV  And thine house and thy kingdom shall be established for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established forever.

2 Samuel 7:29 KJV  Therefore now let it please thee to bless the house of thy servant, that it may continue forever before thee: for thou, O Lord GOD, hast spoken it: and with thy blessing let the house of thy servant be blessed forever.

It is written in scripture, the throne of David and then Solomon will be established forever.  God states the throne would not be taken away as it was with Saul.  If a king was guilty of iniquity, they would be chastened with “the rod of iron” but the kingdom would remain forever.  However, it can be shown historically the throne and kingship appeared to end when King Zedekiah was captured by the invading Babylonian army in 585 BC, taken and imprisoned in Babylon where he died thus apparently ending the kingship of Judah.  In addition, all of Zedekiah’s sons were slain at the time of his imprisonment.  It can be noted in the genealogies of Matthew and Luke, the line of Jehoiakin survived during the Babylonian captivity, descendants returned to Judea and thus Jesus remained a descendant of David and Solomon but there was not a king of the dispersed Jews occupying a throne as king.

Can it be said that Jesus is sitting on the throne of David today?  Jesus is the King of the Kingdom of God in heaven.  However, that throne and His Kingdom and Kingship will be located on the planet at the beginning of the Millennial reign.  It is not currently an earthly kingdom with a sitting king.  However for almost 600 years between the death of Zedekiah and the birth of Jesus can it be said that any one sat on the throne of Judah?  Does this mean the promise God made to David is broken and no longer an issue?  The word forever defines as:  without end; eternally; and continually.

Dictionary.com:  Forever  1. without ever ending; eternally: to last forever. 2. continually; incessantly; always:

The prophet Abijah announced to Jeroboam, king of the northern kingdom of Israel a basic repetition of the covenant of God to David.  This occurred approximately 18 years after the rebellion

2 Chronicles 13:5 KJV  Ought ye not to know that the LORD God of Israel gave the kingdom over Israel to David forever, even to him and to his sons by a covenant of salt?

Another statement of the covenant in Psalm 89:3-3 adds the phrase, “to all generations”.  This statement indicates there will be no skipped generations or symbolic, spiritual generations but living, breathing generations.  Thus, it can be asked if the throne was moved elsewhere and if so, to what location was it moved, by whom was it moved, and who is sitting on the throne or has been sitting on the throne?

Psalms 89:3-4 KJV  I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant,  (4)  Thy seed will I establish forever, and build up thy throne to all generations. Selah.

It has been pointed out by a commentator the word “seed” in verse 4 is translated as “dynasty” in the Moffat version.  I don’t have the Moffat but the definition of “dynasty” is not listed in any of my Hebrew dictionaries.

At the end of this Psalm, God swears by His Holiness the covenant with David will not be broken.  His throne will outlast the sun.  The loving kindness and faithfulness of God will never be taken away.  But where is the throne and who has occupied that throne as a descendant of David?  Can Jesus return and sit upon a nonexistent throne of David?

Psalms 89:28-37 KJV  My mercy will I keep for him for evermore, and my covenant shall stand fast with him.  (29)  His seed also will I make to endure for ever, and his throne as the days of heaven.  (30)  If his children forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments;  (31)  If they break my statutes, and keep not my commandments;  (32)  Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.  (33)  Nevertheless my lovingkindness will I not utterly take from him, nor suffer my faithfulness to fail.  (34)  My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.  (35)  Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David.  (36)  His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me.  (37)  It shall be established for ever as the moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven. Selah.

A Jeremiah Revelation

In Jeremiah 33, we find that he is shut up in the court of the prison while Jerusalem and the temple is being destroyed by the Babylonian army.  He receives a message from God concerning the future healing of the breach of Israel and Judah which will occur during the Millennium as can be seen in the scripture exert below (verses 7 and 8).  Their iniquities (both Israel and Judah) will be pardoned and cleansed.  The land will be restored and prosperity will be given.

Jeremiah 33:7-8 KJV  And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first.  (8)  And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed against me.

Verse 15 tells us the “Branch of righteousness”, which is Jesus, will be the King of the Kingdom who will be executing judgment and righteousness.

Jeremiah 33:15 KJV  In those days, and at that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land.

God tells Jeremiah that Judah will (finally) be saved and Jerusalem will become a safe dwelling place.  In verse 17, we are told that David will never be without a person to sit upon the throne.  Notice the phrase containing the word “throne” “of the house of Israel”. It may be argued the use of the word “Israel” is meant in the general sense of the complete nation of twelve tribes even though both the names of Judah and Israel are used in the chapter to designate two distinct nations.  However, the verse does read “the house of Israel” which appears to mean (or perhaps it emphatically means) the nation of northern Israel that was deported several hundred years prior to this point in time.  It can’t refer to the Millennium because there will only be one King which will be the Lord.  Another possibility would be that David will always have a king on a throne, but after the death of Zedekiah and his sons (heirs), the throne and the king will be placed within the people of the Assyrian deported Israel somewhere in the world (remember that Israel is now Ephraim and Manasseh).

Jeremiah 33:17 KJV  For thus saith the LORD; David shall never want a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel;

After the death of Zedekiah and his heir sons, the throne would be removed from Judah never to return.  During the advent of Jesus, He preached the Kingdom of God and claimed His entitlement as King of the Kingdom and is now sitting on the throne of the Kingdom in heaven but not yet sitting as King of an earthly throne which will occur in the future Millennium.  There is presently nothing the current state of Israel can productively accomplish other than repent and follow the Lord Jesus as King of the Kingdom.  However they can (and are) causing many problems for the world with their one world government shenanigans and their puppet dupes in government positions in various counties particularly including the USA.

At the end of chapter 33, God tells Jeremiah that various people say (and will be saying) that God has cast away His people, that He despised them for their iniquities, and His people will never again be a nation.  However, God answers with, if the heavenly ordinances that He created should no longer operate then His covenant promises and the seed of David to be rulers over the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob will stand.  The birthright promises currently held by Ephraim and Manasseh, and the forever kingship and throne of David will stand.

Jeremiah 33:24-26 KJV  Considerest thou not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which the LORD hath chosen, he hath even cast them off? thus they have despised my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.  (25)  Thus saith the LORD; If my covenant be not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;  (26)  Then will I cast away the seed of Jacob, and David my servant, so that I will not take any of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to return, and have mercy on them.

Of course many evangelicals, Bible teachers, and ministers believe that current Israel is the miracle work of God by healing the breach and bringing the tribes of Israel and Judah back into the land as a nation.  (They should read the history of the beginning of the Jewish state of Israel).  All unfulfilled prophecy can now be fulfilled and God’s chosen people can now rule the world (which is their main one world government purpose).

One more piece of confirmation evidence can be noted at the very beginning of the promise which has been referred to as the scepter promise which is:  the scepter (kingship) will never depart from Judah until Shiloh, which is the Lord Jesus, comes and gathers His people i.e. the second coming of Christ prior to the Millennium.

Genesis 49:10 KJV  The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.

Summary

The Babylonian returnees never had a king unless the Selucids and Romans are considered as such but they were not of the linage of David.  The current nation of Israel does not and has never had a king.  Apparently the Jew’s kingship died with Zedekiah.  There have been a few kings and/or queens in several European countries and there is currently a queen with a prince in waiting in Brittan.  In the next part, hopefully, I will cover the location of the Davidic kingship since the death of Hezekiah, and most have already assumed I am referring to the British Isles which would be correct.  A word of warning which again, hopefully, will be covered in the next section – i.e. to my knowledge, there is no written proof the Davidic kingship was carried to the British Isles but only hearsay.  This British Isles belief has been replicated by only a handful of people and its truth has been denied and supposedly refuted by others, but deniers of the Bible also lie and cover up quite a bit.  However, the concept will be explored because I do not believe there are falsehoods and incorrect information in the Bible, therefore the material will be presented as a possibility of truth, if the Lord is willing.

What appearance did David have?

1 Samuel 16:12 KJV  And he sent, and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, and withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And the LORD said, Arise, anoint him: for this is he.

Ruddy:  ad-mo-nee', ad-mo-nee'

From H119; reddish (of the hair or the complexion): - red, ruddy.

David appears to have near white pinkish skin with perhaps reddish hair.

CHAPTER 8

JEREMIAH’S FINAL MISSION

Jeremiah’s Mission

Jeremiah was anointed as a prophet and was given a mission by and from God before he was born.  It is said that only three individuals were anointed before birth:  Jeremiah, John the Baptist, and Jesus Christ.

Jeremiah 1:5 KJV  Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

He was not only an ordained prophet but was assigned as a prophet to nations.  Jeremiah was born in Judah and warned the Judeans concerning the approaching invasion of Babylon, but he was also to be a prophet to other nations, including more than merely Judah but also including the nation of Israel as will be shown later.  He was also given a special mission to accomplish by God.

Jeremiah 1:10 KJV  See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.

Jeremiah 1:10 NET  Know for certain that I hereby give you the authority to announce to nations and kingdoms that they will be uprooted and torn down, destroyed and demolished, rebuilt and firmly planted."

Not only did Jeremiah warn the nation of Judah of their impending destruction and captivity but also of the soon coming pulling down and throwing down of the throne of David and the kingship and kingdom of Judah.  As reported in the Covenant of David article, The Birthright- Part 7 the kingship and throne of David were promised by God to endure forever.  During Babylon’s initial assault, the reigning king, Jeconiah, was taken to prison in Babylon and Zedekiah was placed on the throne.  However during Babylonia’s second assault, the current king of Judah, Zedekiah, would die in a Babylonian prison and his heir sons would be killed.  Jeconiah was then released from prison and sent to Judah as a vassal king although he was viewed as the authentic king by the people of Judah.

None of Jeconiah’s sons ever reigned as king of Judah because God would not allow it.  The throne of Judah through his son Pharez was ending but would be continued through his twin brother Zarah, according to some sources.  Pharez and Zarah were twin sons of Judah and Tamar.  It appears in Jeremiah 22:30, the kingship of the Zarah line was coming to an end and the sons of Jeconiah were to never be allowed to rein in Judah, although the geneology of Jeconiah is included in the linage listed in Matthew and Luke concerning the mother and associate father of Jesus.

Jeremiah 22:30 KJV  Thus saith the LORD, Write ye this man childless, a man that shall not prosper in his days: for no man of his seed shall prosper, sitting upon the throne of David, and ruling any more in Judah.

Jeremiah was released from the Jerusalem court prison and was allowed to do as he pleased while under the protection of the captain of the Babylonian guard.

Jeremiah 39:11-12 KJV  Now Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon gave charge concerning Jeremiah to Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard, saying,  (12)  Take him, and look well to him, and do him no harm; but do unto him even as he shall say unto thee.

When Jeremiah was released, he traveled to Mizpah with some other survivors and came in contact with the King’s daughters (Zedekiah).  To make a long story short, a fellow named Ishmael killed the majority of the group but took Jeremiah, a few others, and the King’s daughters captive.  Ishmael’s authority was replaced and his successor, due to fear of Babylon, allowed Jeremiah and the girls to leave.  Against the advice of God, a person named Johanan took this group to Egypt.

Jeremiah 43:5-7 KJV  But Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces, took all the remnant of Judah, that were returned from all nations, whither they had been driven, to dwell in the land of Judah;  (6)  Even men, and women, and children, and the king's daughters, and every person that Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard had left with Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, and Jeremiah the prophet, and Baruch the son of Neriah.  (7)  So they came into the land of Egypt: for they obeyed not the voice of the LORD: thus came they even to Tahpanhes.

Isaiah appears to present a prophecy concerning Jeremiah, Barach, and the King’s daughters, and others say it is definitely a prophecy concerning these people.  The two verses do not seem to contribute to any of the context verses, but rather an additional thought added to the chapter.  The reader can be the judge of the context.

Isaiah 37:31-32 KJV  And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root downward, and bear fruit upward:  (32)  For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount Zion: the zeal of the LORD of hosts shall do this.

This prophecy (and most of the Isaiah 37 chapter) is repeated verbatim in 2 Kings 19:30-31.

2 Kings 19:30-31 KJV  And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall yet again take root downward, and bear fruit upward.  (31)  For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount Zion: the zeal of the LORD of hosts shall do this.

By ship, Jeremiah supposedly took the King’s daughters, around Gibraltar, to some point up north to Ireland, according to some undocumented sources.  After going to Egypt, the Jeremiah story cannot be found in the Bible and outside sources are not factually reliable and do not always agree.

Pharez and Zarah

The story of Judah and Tamar is quite interesting but this section will only deal with the twin sons born to Tamar with Judah as the father.  As Tamar was in the process of delivery, one of the twins stuck out his arm and the midwife tied a red cord around his wrist, indicating the firstborn.  This red corded twin drew his arm back inside and the other twin was actually born first rather than the one with a red cord.  The first born was named Pharez.  His name is related to the Hebrew word for “breach” according to Brown-Driver-Briggs Hebrew dictionary. 

Genesis 38:29 KJV  And it came to pass, as he drew back his hand, that, behold, his brother came out: and she said, How hast thou broken forth? this breach be upon thee: therefore his name was called Pharez.

Genesis 38:29 LITV-TSP  And it happened as he withdrew his hand, behold, his brother came out. And she said, How have you broken a break for yourself? And one called his name Pharez.

The oldest son is supposed to inherit the throne succession, which is not always the case, but in this particular one Pharez inherited the scepter promise of kingship and his linage continues through to the last king.

History shows the descendants of Zarah became wanderers, journeying to the north within the confines of the Scythian nations, their descendants later migrating to Ireland in the days of King David.

Loose Ends and Conclusion

There is much more to this story, however it now actually becomes a story because there is no valid proof or historical references to prove any of the remainder.  I have already depicted some unprovable material but I will now call a halt to this series concerning the birthright.  Below is a basic summary of the remainder of the tale without any fine points, details, or scripture for those who haven’t actually figured the ending out yet.

Zarah, with the red cord, never had a family member on the throne of Judah.  The story of Pharez, Zarah, and the “scarlet thread” is in the Bible for a reason, but with no additional material.  According to some sources, Zarah was supposed to inherit the scepter promise but was denied.  When God ended the throne linage in Judah, it is thought or assumed the linage was transferred from the Pharez linage to the Zarah linage. 

The historical story of Judah, Tamar, Pharez and Zarah took place prior to the Egyptian slavery.  There is another story, with little or no verification, the disinherited Zarah line left Egypt (escaped) during the plagues and traveled to Spain and then Ireland where they remained even during the migration of the ten tribes (or some of them) to northwestern Europe.

Jeremiah supposedly took the King’s daughters, or at least one of them, to Ireland with the purpose of marrying a Zarah prince and establishing the scepter promise with the Zarah line of Judah among the deported Israelites.  The throne was moved from Ireland to Scotland and then to England where it is now.  The Stone of Scone which is considered to be Jacob’s pillow stone is also called the coronation stone and was supposedly taken by Jeremiah to Ireland.  This stone is currently underneath the coronation throne.

An Additional Note:  I recently read on Veteran’s Today Network that the Palestinians are the descendants of Ephraim and Manasseh according to the opinion of Katherine Frisk.  Everyone has an opinion but no one has evidential documentation.
