The Fall of Babylon
With Joe Biden and his crew, now in control of America, it appears that many people are not highly interested in scriptural events and articles. That may sound reasonable but do not give up hope. There is no seven-year tribulation period, as some claim, but that doesn’t mean a certain amount of tribulation is not possible. Not only is it possible but highly probable and in America, at least, we are viewing some of that.
As Dr. Jones has claimed, on several occasions, the final world empire named Babylon, although a mystery among the majority of inhabitants, is not a mystery among fellow believers of Jesus Christ. We are all disappointed to some degree but the end of the Christian world is not here quite yet.
The Church, i.e. people not a building, is rapidly declining with multiple ungodly teachings and reports being issued every day. The US Congress is now attempting to pass a bill that would make teaching the gospel a crime. The US Democrats despise Christianity even though the majority have not quite admitted it. The Covid pandemic, whether true or not, has decimated most church congregations and caused others to fail. A few pastors, in Canada and the USA, have recently been arrested for preaching the Bible.
In the USA, the rightful worshippers have disappeared in great numbers, mostly due to the corrupt teaching in the churches. Based on a certain amount of information, the committed church worshippers, other than some Catholics, have almost completely quit the scene in Europe (this may not be totally true).
Let’s now take a look at what scripture says about the fall of Babylon.
REVELATION 18:2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
Revelation 17:1 describes Babylon as a “great whore” that sits upon many waters. Being described as a protestant, it is easy to claim that Babylon is the Catholic church but, for now, we will claim that it is indeed. Mainly due to the fact that the Catholic church is so widespread throughout that world. It is also the “beast from the sea” as indicated by Revelation 13 and it is financially supported (or controlled) by the “beast from the earth” (the Rothschild controlled international banking system) also indicated by Revelation 13.
The protestant churches in the USA appear to be mostly interested in building large structures and having various activities. It is not believed that all of them together have the financial authority to change government attitudes. Some of them definitely have become the habitation of devils, foul spirits, and unclean birds. It could also be said that the Catholic church has claimed that habitation for quite a while. It has been maintained that Rome sits on seven mountains and Revelation 17:9 states the WOMAN also sits there.
It has already been reported by Dr. Stephen Jones that the time period of actual power for Mystery, Babylon has already expired and now it is only a matter of time (hopefully a short time) prior to the complete destruction of Babylon and the true rise of the Millennial kingdom of God.
This prostitute (i.e. the Vatican and the international banking system) have committed many abominations with the corporate leaders, rulers, and administrators of large companies, and countries.
As a side note the definition of “abomination” includes outrage, scandal, atrocity, horror, repugnance, loathing, revulsion, abhorrence, and disgust (along with several other words).
As a result of these abominations or “revulsions” the people of earth have been intoxicated or completely under the influence of their offerings (not all, but most).
Revelation 17:2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
At this point John is spiritually taken into the “wilderness” which is not an actual place but one presenting spiritual understanding. Here he sees the woman (or prostitute) sitting on a scarlet colored beast. This beast is full of blasphemous (ungodly, profane) names with seven heads and ten horns. According to the angel, this beast comes up from the sea, thus it is the little horn of Daniel which is a religious entity or the papacy. 17-8 says the beast from the bottomless pit (or abyss) which means the deep sea.
As stated earlier, the seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sits. Rome or the Vatican is said to sit on seven mountains. 17:8 relates the events in 1796, during the French Revolutionary Wars, French troops under Napoleon Bonaparte invaded Rome and captured Pope Pius VI, taking him as a prisoner to France, where he died in 1799. There was no Pope during a short period until Napoleon requested one to grant him emperor status over the French empire.
In addition to the literal mountains of Rome the mountains also represent kings or kingdoms. According to Dr. Jones the seven hills spiritually represent seven forms of government in the history of Rome: Kings, Consuls, Dictators, Decemvirs, Military Tribunes, Military Emperors, and Christian Emperors. (My historical expertise is somewhat limited so we will simply believe Dr. Jones is correct.)
The mountains also represent seven “kings”. The angel claims that “five have fallen” which makes this a first century declaration. Thus the first five forms of the Roman government had already fallen and had been replaced by the sixth form of “military emperors”. This occurred after the death of Nero in 68 AD. Several generals attempted to take the throne. Finally Vespasian (fighting the Jews in Judea) decided he should have the crown and left his son, Titus, in Jerusalem, while he went to Rome and secured the throne. The rest you should already know.
The seventh form of Christian emperors did not begin until Constantine in 310 AD. The term “a short space” or “a little while” in verse 10 does not necessarily mean a few days.
Of course the pope who died in prison was the seventh and later became the eighth, although not the same person but with the same title of Pope. The seventh beast could be considered a double beast. He was the seventh and then became the eighth.
Verse 11 claims that the beast with the reclaimed pope as the head goes into perdition (apoleia, destruction). It generally means “lost” or off the normal path of the beast. The religious beast from the sea is a so-called disciple and friend of Jesus who betrays Him at the end of this age just as did Judas to Jesus Christ.
Those who usurped the throne after Christ’s first appearance in the first century were not content with the throne, but desired also the birthright of Joseph and the name Israel, which was the mark of the birthright. Despite protests from the UN the subduers of the Judean land termed their country “Israel” in 1948.
The descendants of the real Judahites became the Esau people who were forced to claim Judaism during the Maccabean period. Due to the scheming of Jacob with Esau to get both birthright titles, it resulted in God giving the Esau people a chance at correctly governing the land until they proved being unable to do so.
At the end of the age, the religious beast, as a corporate entity, betrays Jesus and thus “goes to perdition” or destruction in a similar manner as did Judas. Those claiming that Israel is composed of true Israelites will participate in the betrayal. This statement may appear cold but if you claim that Israel is truly populated of the original 12 tribes there may be betrayal in your accusation.
Daniel’s “little horn” waged war against the saints for “a time, times, and half a time” or 1260 years. This came to fruition at the French Revolution or 1260 years after Justinian changed times and laws in 529-534 AD. After the French Revolution and the death of the “little horn” the pope was reinstated and came into an alliance with the 2nd beast known as the beast from the earth. Daniel was not shown this part of the prophecy, thus John, in many respects, is a continuation of Daniel.
Revelation 17:12-13 says the ten horns represent 10 kingdoms. When John received this revelation in 96 AD the kings or kingdoms had not arisen. There were 10 semi-nations of ethnic groups controlled by the Roman Empire: Bavarians, Franks, Bergundians, Alemanni, Suevi, Visigoths, Alans, Vandals, Ostrogoths, and Heruli (who merged with the Lombards). Daniel mentioned a fourth beast with ten horns but a little horn emerged and pulled out by the roots three of the ten horns being: the Heruli, the Vandals, and the Ostrogoths. The papal war against the Lamb or the body of Christians on earth. Revelation 17:15 demonstrates the prostitute holds dominion over many people and nations. Almost every person on the planet knows of the Pope. However, whether they heed or not the language of the Vatican, the power of the second beast, i.e. the international banking system, essentially governs the entire world.
Revelation chapter 18 proclaims that Babylon has fallen but it gives many details of Babylon’s inter-workings. Verses 11 through 13 discuss the many items traded around the world by the global Babylon. A few of the items do not appear reasonable at the present time such as frankincense and thyine wood (a citrus wood) and most appear to be costly. The item that caught my eye is the slaves and souls of men (people) within verse 13, which appears to be a connection to human trafficking.
All in all – Joe Biden and his crew are apparently necessary from God’s point of view. Do not lose faith. God is always completely in control.
